The Official 2016/2017 NFL Thread

You're ignoring 5 years of Wentz vs giving up that much for Cousins and paying him $25M per season.

Regardless, I don't think that's the right move anyway. They need more than just a QB and next year's draft class is potentially up there with the Luck/RG3 caliber guys.

Im sitting here agreeing with everything you type thinking, "Mike knows where it's at." And then you have to add something that deserves:wtf:wtf

RG3 was a ridiculous prospect, and had an amazing rookie year. 3200 yards 20TD 5INT.

He was just never the same after he got injured.

which, to circle back, is exactly why the 9ers shouldn't put anyone in at qb that they really like for the future of their team for at least a year

Yeah, like I said, trade the #2 for hella lower picks. Build up on both lines.

6'0 240lb Leonard Fournette just ran a 4.51 40 at the NFL Combine

Holy shit.

Brandon Jacobs did it in 4.56 at 6'5" 265. I miss Big Thunda, he is the only running back I have heard other teams Safeties say to the press they were actually afraid to tackle 1 on 1.

Fournette sounds like he will be a fun back to watch though.

I don't think there's been a bigger freak than Vernon Davis though. 6'3, 255, fucking 4.3 40 and a 42" vert.

Clowney's 4.53 at 6'6 270 was impressive though

Yeah, but those guys weren't running backs. Somebody want to start the '17 thread with the combine under way?
