I hope the A's get a sweet waterfront (or close to) site near other businesses, one that can rival Phonebook. They deserve it. Pipe dream, I know.
I could see the NFL losing total relevancy (but still be a desired brand) over the next decade with all their wishy-washy team/city swapping. smacks of greed and is destructive to fan loyalty. if they have a labor stoppage again it'll be devastating to their business
as a Niner fan i could root for the Raiders when they played teams other than SF, and would watch their games. i couldn't be paid to give a shit about a Las Vegas team
glad to see Vance land in a good spot. i hope he doesn't drop the ball with his new opportunity there
that makes Celek, Kittle, and Bell the Niners TE's for the season?
Meh, they don't do it that much, mainly just for franchises that are either underperforming or in a shit town. Detroit would get up and walk away 20 years ago if it wasn't owned by a Ford, LOL.

some crap, doesn't matter.
If you look at the 10 most valuable teams in the NFL, pretty much all of them have stayed in the same metro area with the exception of the Rams and the Pats. I mean, sure, the Skins moved from Boston back in 1937, c'mon, and the Niners left their Metro area and aren't a San Francisco team anymore, but they stayed close enough where they figured they could still swindle the SF logo and the history of the franchise while becoming a San Jose team to make more money in a bigger market. Seriously like NO ONE not from NorCal knows the difference.
With the Pats, they were seriously a laughing stock before they moved to Foxborough, so their valuation is pretty much the Brady era come to life and weren't hurt much by the move they did.
With the Rams, all they did was move back to their original home into a vastly larger market, I cannot see this doing anything more than excite the NFL's revenue streams and increase value on the team. If they can actually build a winning franchise, they may come out more money than Big Blue in a few years.
The whole constant Town Swap greedy fan betrayal thing is mainly just The Raider Way.
