But first somebody toobed you with a skillful shot. Bow down! Toobin' ain't easy, got to aim higher to account for windage. ;)

It's funny how people running the lightweight rushing loadout with an SMG or pistol thinks they are good because their loadout allows them to run faster, aim faster, shoot faster. So if you meet them coming 'round a corner, their lightweight loadout is going to get the kill most every time. "Damn I'm good" they claim. Uh, no you're not, you simply chose a loadout that allows you to aim faster than most and you can move twice as damn fast as someone not running a lightweight loadout. Huge equipment advantage.

So when somebody kills you with a slow-moving toob assault rifle loadout, don't be crying over the taste of being killed by a different loadout that has a distance and detonation area advantage. :laughing

You serious? I got more long-range kills with the UMP than any other gun in MW2.

1) tube is for scrubs because they can't aim and it's basically an instant kill
2) lightweight loadouts have won me more games than anything else because people cannot find you. If you are running around corners and bumping into guys then you're doing it wrong. There's an accompanying strategy to every loadout and running headlong into people with a stealth loadout is not it.
3) every single gun in the game can be effective at close range if used properly. ALL OF THEM.

Tanks are nice. But that fucking boat is so ridiculous. 25mm burst and tv missles with one other guy to work the side miniguns and repair is pretty god damned unstoppable.

A10 with TV does it every time. Goes for AA too. Less they have active defense, but they don't activate that until the TV hits normally.

I've been doing this also when i can.

Get Apache, by myself, fly up very high, switch to gunner seat, fire tv, switch back to pilot seat, fly back up really high, repeat :laughing . Gravitys kinda funny in that game.

Have you played ghosts yet at all. I'm just curious because all previous CODs were a walk in the park when compared to ghosts. People who think they were gods on the older titles want to return the game when they buy ghosts because they are not able to dominate the game like before.

I used the do the forever alone helicopter crew thing also, but in BF3. Haven't unlocked a lot of shit for the chopper yet so I can't do that yet in BF4. Everytime I fly I either do it alone or the gunner I get blows through the ammo shooting nothing then just sits there with his thumb up his ass sightseeing when there actually is something to shoot at. And when I ride gunner, I get the noobiest pilot ever that pretty much crashes into the nearest object he finds.

Tanks, boats, and choppers sound like fun. Just need to find BF4 on the used rack.

You create custom games with SIXTY people, and no one can find you? Plz, we're trying to have a serious video game talk here. :laughing

Added to that.:laughing:thumbup

I like it now that I've accepted that it's very hard compared to the older CODs. I hated it when I first bought it.:laughing

I wish i had a gunner who would run out of ammo. All the gunners i play with always want to use every other weapon because they're cooler than the cannon, even though the cannon is by far the best tool for almost every job.

Played it for like 10 minutes on teh sexbox. Thought it was terrible. 5/10 at best. They really have nailed down building a game around the play styles of people who suck.

Those people can't dominate because the game is designed so that you kill someone then get killed. It was super frustrating. I spawned shot a guy, and got killed by a guy who spawned literally right behind me so often I couldn't play it anymore.

Their reasoning for this? That's how idiots like the game. They get 1 free kill, die, then get another one. It's not even a game, it's like pressing a "kill" button and getting some shiny upgrade as a reward. Skinner box hell.

I'm talking about MW2, in CoD4 it was AK-47 time all the time :laughing

For sure. TV missiles are great for softening up a target, but the gun is and always has been the business end of the attack heli.

I've almost got smart rockets unlocked. Better than Zunis or no? I remember the "smart" rockets in BF3 were fairly worthless.

So you're jelly mad because a dumbed down game has been dumbed down to match the target population? :twofinger

I didn't care for them that much, used them in bf3 but using zunis in bf4. From what I remember they're not as smart as they used to be.

It's probably great but so is Black Ops 2 and with these FPS games, each game is always different so they never get old. I may or may not get Ghosts, I loved MW2 but never bought MW3 so it doesn't hurt my feelings to skip a game in the order. :teeth

The beauty of these networked games is that you are playing against other people not a computer. There are no patterns to memorize because most (granted, not all) people change their tactics throughout a game. One minute they camp, then they rush, then they spawn-camp, possibly switch weapons throughout the match, then the spawn flips so you gotta start all over again, then you realize all your team are rushers that are reaching the other spawn so quickly that the bad guys will be spawning right behind you....it never gets old!

I'm so desperate for a good game I think I might reload Fallout 3 this weekend.

Or any C&C game, or Rogue Spear for that matter.

Rogue Spear?!? Holy shit man isn't that like a 15 year old game. Was a great game, but it's gonna be expert mode with how amazing fast things are gonna happen running that game on a modern PC.

If you loved MW2, then the map pack for Ghosts (yeah I'm a sheep I know whatevs) has a reskinned version of Scrapyard. Same ol' Scrapyard...I knew the traffic flow so well already I almost got a KEM strike the very first time I played the map.

Woot! Got my Elder Scrolls beta invite. Anybody else playing? Any suggestions on the 3 alliances?
