Warriors 16-17 Season

They are playing like the team everybody feared when they signed Durant. They played this way against the Suns, too, but that was Phoenix. This is Indiana, a team that beat the Clippers and Cavaliers.

The play of the game was the pass from Draymond (full court) to Steph who lobbed it to a trailing KD for the slam....

I have been so hoping Klay would have a night like this. For his head. He had too many really bad shooting outings prior to this this season. To me, the feeling was that the old Warriors magic of last year returned last night, and this time WITH KD present. I feel like they can move forward now without some kind of lingering question of whether they can all flourish. (I know, I know, that they are in first place, but there just seemed to be bad juju earlier with Klay especially).

Finally watching the new Warriors tonight. This time they play a real team, a proper test. :thumbup

Impressive, GSW. You forced so many LAC turnovers tonight, they are outclassed.

Well that was anti-climactic.

While I enjoy the adrenaline of a zillion points made, I'll take smothering defense and incredible passing anyday. And it's hard not to enjoy seeing that bully-boy Griffin taken down. As expected, he started swinging later in the game.

Hope they got a good night's sleep for Utah...

The 3 pt curse for Steph at Staples sure is odd.

Dec. 25th. Will I get coal or a new bike???

Visions of basketballs zippin by LBJ's head, confusing and confounding. '

We'll see. I want a beatdown like last year, when they fired their coach the next day. yes, they lost the Finals, I know. But it still was satisfying.

Agreed, and Draymond should rough up LeBrat too! :teeth

Lebron guards Durant
Kyrie on Steph
Tristan on Zaza
Kevin Love on Klay
JR Smith on Draymond

Do I have that right? The Kevin Love & JR Smith are matchups either way in Warriors favor.

Tristan vs Zaza has the possibilities of being trouble for Zaza. Maybe Javale comes in. Gonna be fun. I do hope the Warriors are extra physical. Zaza doesn't seem as soft as Bogut and David West certainly isnt either.

For those of you watching the Raiders, let me give you an update on the Jazz hosting the Warriors:

Well they were on a back to back. They just put it on cruise control after they got a lead then it went off the rails.

Anybody see what Mo Speights said about his new teammates? A harsh dose of reality. If you watch the clip from early in the game when CP3 hassles the refs you can see Mo on the bench rolling his eyes.

“First we need to start really just leaving the refs alone,” Speights told the Orange County Register. “Guys just got to sacrifice, do some other things than scoring, do some other things than your personal goals. Just try something new.”
...
“That’s the scouting report when you play against the Clippers,” he said. “It’s always been, especially with the Warriors, you play against the Clippers, you hit them a couple of times and their spirit is going to be down.”

They were down 15 with Varejo starting still in, I turned off the radio after that.

Should have start Javale.

Also, shows how important Iggy is.
