Warriors 16-17 Season

They sure need some rest, though....what a schedule. Didn't want to have two losses in a row and they didn't.

"What a schedule?" The looming 6-18 win-loss record of Minnesota was concerning you? :laughing

5 nights in 6 games is still 5 nights in 6 games doesnt matter if youre the warriors cavs or nets

The Warriors now have six games in a row against shitty teams.

After that...the Cavaliers on Christmas day.

We're all just wasting time til the playoffs start really.

Depth will be a problem for you all in a long series. Ask me how I know :). It'll get even uglier once contracts start to get resigned next year. That cheap payroll is about to disappear and give you all even less depth.

Come on down to Cleveland town. See you all on Xmas day!

Have you ever played ball before? I can't even begin to imagine the physical toll it takes on the body playing that many games at that level. Then factor in all the time spent travelling, late nights, not sleeping well, etc. At the end of the day a shitty NBA team is still made up of elite athletes that is probably better than 99% of the world. It's tough.

That's part of the NBA. Warriors are a byproduct of 100 stars of 100 aligning in regards to the cap going up 2 years in a row and them hitting gold on several draft picks.

Champ teams to stay viable have to draft well period and/or get veterans to sign for discounts.

I feel Damian Jones needs to hit as a draft pick in order for the Warriors to be relevant for many years. Teams need to get good years cheaply. Macadoo whom I really like hasn't turned the corner in development for me. Hope Mcaaw becomes a good wing/drive an kick player. Needs to a good defender now rather than scorer.

I guess another route is rigging the draft and getting #1 picks 2 in 3 years :teeth

I sort of wish the salary cap idea would make its way over to MLB... For the last billion years, it has (mostly) been the same teams winning over and over again. It's a little sad when small market teams like the Twins never have a snowball's chance in hell of competing. A cap would certainly help that...

In some respects, I think it would be even better to ditch the single player salary cap, and just institute a team wide salary cap. Want to pay a star player half your payroll? That's fine, but good luck making it through the playoffs. It would help to level the playing field.

Speaking of rigging the draft.. How about those Cleveland Browns? Nothing like a battle to the bottom with the 49ers.... :nchantr

But neither of our cities can complain - we've both had 'ships in the last few years. I'm happy, and I take it you guys are too. Let's hope for healthy teams and another good playoff season for both of us.

Someone is pretty confident...

He knows BronBron isn't gonna tank it at home like he did last year to get Blatt fired.

I hope the Kardashian sister is there, she's massively bad ju-ju and she's datin' a Cav.... :laughing

He's also forgotten the Cavs have the highest payroll in the league.

I think we're just getting trolled due to envy/jealousy whatever. Because the Warriors signed Durant, they are now supposed to be 150% perfect or some damn thing.

Of course they are tired, no matter who they play. Just like last year, most teams really want to knock em off.

Kerr continues to experiment with finding the best way to use the talent. I think starting Varejao was very revealing and not in a good way. I am just not sure why he is on the roster, even if I want to like him etc etc.

Bottom line is the long view of being right for the playoffs.

Cavs putting the Grizzlies to rest tonight...

... and GSW is down 7 at halftime against... The.. Pelicans?!...

Ya'll, come on now.. That would be embarrassing.

Regular season don't mean shit.
