Warriors 16-17 Season

I watched the Celtics-Lakers last night, I really like Isaiah Thomas (not to be confused with the scumbag that played for the Pistons)... at 5'9" he took the game over going in to the 4th qtr. He leads the league in 4th qtr points and came up 2 points shy of scoring 40 points in a third consecutive game, something no Celtic has ever done even with their impressive list of Hall of Famers that have played for them.

How did the Kings and Suns miss on this one?

Didnt know until this morning's paper that they cut Varejao for the new kid.

It really wasn't making a lot of sense. Good luck to him. I wanted to like him but his play just wasn't up to their level. He was a good screener for Steph if being big and floppy is a strategy. Minimum contract, not much harm.

Feel adding Briante Weber was also a way to block the Cavs from getting a cheap point guard. I guess he was the highest rated guard in the D League. Hard to tell from highlights how good he is.

He almost got a quad-double his last D-league game

You get a technical and you get a technical, everybody gets a technical!

Edit to add: Is this the first time Mike Brown has coached?

Splash bros drop back to back treys after Kerr is sent to the locker room. BOOM!

Not sure I have seen Kerr lose it like that before.

Not this year (season). Last year he did. ETA: Research says I'm wrong, no GSW coach ejections in the Kerr era.

ETA: Curry 3 to end the Q as expected, to tie it. Whodathunk this would be one of the most exciting games of the year?

I'm not a lip reader, but even I understood what he was saying when they were pulling him off the court. :laughing

I'm glad he stood up for the new kid. I think it had to happen. Two fouls against a young player coming into his own. Yes, he was yelling about the next T but it was probably necessary. And it did kind of fire up the team but not enough. They were tired and feeling the loss of starters.

Oh well. Still in first place.

To be so blinded by fanaticism for the team that you have lost sight of the beauty of the game...

Sad!

... And in honor of the history of Warriors' basketball, I submit the Bubba_s Memorial 3-Point Shot, which should look strikingly familiar to famous shots taken (and made) during the 2016 NBA Finals.
