Warriors 16-17 Season

Third quarter score looked like a final score, I think it was 117 to 72?

Curry was on fire, 43 points, and sat out the fourth.

Has anybody noticed they've been playing McAdoo and he has been playing well? Aside from that missed alley oop dunk tonight.

David West injury giving Kerr a chance to test other players. I've always liked Macadoo. Hope he keeps developing. Jim Barnett said Macadoo can hit the 3 but Kerr isn't ready to let him shoot it yet.

Of all the teams that a rookie has to sit and watch and learn instead of being thrown out there, being on the Dubs isn't such a bad deal.

To me, the newer players have the best possible scenario. Even if they are put in during garbahge time, they will likely sip at least some champagne and get regular love at all the games.

Really happy with the so-called bench. Curry is trying to come up with a new name instead of second team or backup or whatever to promote their importance (during one of those courtside interviews last week). Love it.

Omg chemistry issues

"i just said to him, 'don't worry about me,'" durant told espn of his ongoing dialogue with curry. "i said, 'just play your game. I'll figure it out. I'll figure it out around you. You're the engine of this team, and i know that. I'm not trying to come over and feel like everything just revolves around me. Just do you, man. I'm going to play around you. I've played this game long enough. I know how to score. I know how to find the ball. Just go out there and play your game.' and that's what he's been doing."

you missed the sarcasm dripping from my post.

people talked about whether or not KD would 'fit in' not having to be the #1 option or the #1 guy on the team or whatever whatever.

Watching OKC at CLE right now and some Cavs fan just a few rows up from the court keeps holding up a shitty sign that says, "WARRIORS STILL BLEW 3-1 LEAD." Get over it.

Especially considering the Indians were up 3-1 over the Cubs and blew that lead to lose to the losingest losers in sports, the Cubs. :laughing

Nice attempt at a bait :rolleyes

Losing team? The Cubs had double our payroll, and we were missing our #2 and #3 pitchers :laughing That the Indians were even able to take to game 7 in extra innings is flat out amazing. That was an amazing season, and one of the best World Series in the last couple decades.

Get real, man :rofl I'm *thrilled* with how last year turned out for Cleveland sports. Best regular season record in NBA history, and they came back to win it in Golden State. What a championship.

Don't forget, the highest payroll in the NBA belongs to, yup, THE LEBRONs. No excuses if they don't win it all, right? :laughing

GSW would be right up there with them if it weren't for the Curry Klay Draymond sweetheart deal.

You'll find out after this season :laughing

Curry's is the only real sweetheart deal, and they signed that one when his ankle appeared to be made of glass.

The cap should go up enough for them to keep everybody, except maybe KD if he wants to go get a supermax deal.

I read an article awhile back that said their contracts are all staggered so that they can afford them and laid out how the timing of them all works out.

Plus, realistically, they can stay together as long as they want. Timmy/Manu/Parker did it in San Antonio. It's very possible.

I don't know if I'd call that a lucky shot by waiters. The dude was on fire the whole game

By sweetheart deal, do you mean drafting amazing players that others overlooked and getting great value?

This isn't luck, or an accident.

If I told you the sun rising tomorrow is proof that the stock market crashes, and it DOES crash... does that make me prescient?

It's foolish to say that there isn't a luck factor involved with the selection of *any* player. Don't assume that everything is because of perfect and masterful planning; no coach or committee or front office is that good.

And if they were that good, then Golden State's front office would have picked a better team who didn't blow a 3-1 lead at home while having the best regular season ever.

:twofinger

Blowing 3-1 leads seemed to be a theme in 2016... just ask the Tribe.

LBJ seemed to be the kiss of death after a visit, he went to the World Series game that started the Indians collapse, and then gave his blessings to Ohio State with a visit before the game they got pummeled in the college playoff game.

heavy is the head that wears the crown. :laughing

This 3-1 crap is so garbage.

Cavs fan complaining when Warriors beat them prior year they weren't healthy, Kyrie was down and it was Lebron's 1st year with Kyrie blah blah blah.

They beat the Warriors following year and everyone forgets Lebron's bitch move on Draymond, baiting him for a bogus tech and missing game 5, Curry was at 75-80% and Bogut missed game 6 and 7. :wtf

Bogut was not a scoring threat but his 15 minutes to plug the lane and protect the rim PLUS his passing and screening to free up Klay and Steph was greatly missed.

Cavs fans subscribing to the alternative facts it seems.

I'd love a close series BUT also love a 4-0 sweep in the finals too so Cavs fans can listen to the bs for an entire off season.

Hell, with the way things are going, Celtics need to make one good trade for Blake Griffin or someone and could give Cavs a run the playoffs. The east isnt a sure thing this season it seams......unless Lebron gets Dan Gilbert to spend ever more over the cap and get Ray Allen, Robert Horry, Kobe out of retirement :laughing

meh, he can gloat, they won, albeit over an injured Warrior team, in the final minute of the final game of a seven game series, but if they don't repeat, he better be prepared... :laughing

I'm still laughing how Cleveland fans forget the World Series collapse when they bring up "3-1". Talk about selective memory. Must be something in the rust.

Now, now.. this is good fun and all, but I value riding and the riding community much more than any flavor of sprotsbal. I hope you do, too.
