Warriors 16-17 Season

Kerr said Klay, Steph, and Iggy will rest for the Spurs game. Bye bye #1 seed.

And Draymond.

Think he's giving a little :twofinger back to the NBA for this crazy bit of scheduling?

Tonight's game sucked. Steph hasn't been himself, his shot is way off. He's still getting beat up with nothing to show for it, which may be contributing to his game being off. Lately ref's have been pretty shitty. I thought the Celtics game was bad, but tonight was a bit worse.

Sucks for all the people who bought what are probably super expensive tickets for this marquee matchup thats gonna be 2nd units battling it out.

Steve Kerr, troll of the year. ABC is pissed at the Warriors and the NBA. Jackson and van Gundy are pissed at the Warriors. The NBA is likely pissed at the Warriors.

NBA will likely make scheduling changes next year.

I'm pissed at the NBA for whatever the hell is going on with the officiating and the scheduling. Curry was just getting mugged last night, over and over.

I'm glad Kerr did what he did. Too bad about Mark Jackson.

If the Warriors go back to being a bammer team can they stay in Oakland? Conflicted...

KD in the lineup hid the impact the lackluster bench has.

They don't have guaranteed scorers like Speights and Barbosa. Those guys shot or at least drove to the hole. Current bench doesnt do that, not even Iggy. Kerr has a few weeks to figure that out.

I just have to say it: In Draymond we trust. I love the way he plays the game. No quit, no abstraction, no doubt. He probably wont get the Defensive Player of the Year because of his actions last year but he's the most important guy to their winning effort right now. I already have one 23 t-shirt, think I'm gonna get some more.

I think draymond is the most mentally (and physically) tough warrior player, no doubt about it. His defense alone rallied the team back near the end of the 3rd and through the 4th... And we've seen it time and time again all year long with insane defensive plays in the most clutch moments.

A lot of people hate on draymond for his kicking thing but deep down every GM and team wants a draymond.

His only real problem is his ego. If he would/could change the attitude, and stop the petty bullshit, he'd be a perfectly well rounded package.

Realistically, he needs a Lebron in his life. Under Lebron's wing, Draymond would be fantastic.

That's comedy gold. How long it take LeBaby to get a ring? Draymond is doing just fine for himself. If they win this year, he'll have 1 less ring than Lebron and only been in the league 5 years.

Draymond likes players that are real and play the right way. I'm sure he appreciates Lebron's achievements but hates his acting on the court.

Yeah, I don't see Draymond needing a mentor at this point, unless its somebody to help him cool down. LeFlop is pretty out there with his displeasures too, but seems to get away with it, more than others. Maybe he can teach Dray how to get the world to lick HIS ass, too.

But I will add in his defense, LeFLop does play hard, he's all business out there. He only lets up when he's laying on the floor writhing in agony.

... So the bold part is more or less Draymond's problem? Not Lebron? Because for the most part, LBJ is 100% business - both on and off the court. (Especially off the court. No shit talk, no scandals, nothing. Print that.)

I think he needs a mentor precisely to cool down. Lot of young reckless idiots have ended up on the current Cavs roster, and there's something about playing for LBJ that gets them to chill out and focus on the game. Anyone that has had a chance to play for LBJ talks hardcore positive about how he leads the team. I think his positive effect on teammates is pretty undeniable at this point - he's a true facilitator who just wants to win.

Thank goodness for Manu not being able to make a free throw when he needed to, and to not being able to miss when he tried to at the end of the Spurs loss to Portland.

(Mind you, this was 2 days before the Indians gagged up their 3-1 lead in the WS.)

As for the rest of that, yeah, he's the alpha dog on that team, especially when you see how bad they are without him. With all the old guys they've lined up I hope they have a few more play off games this year than last...
