Warriors 16-17 Season

Curry beast mode engaged. Only 1 of the 2 good Portland players showed up.

Look at their body language when Curry shoots a 3. They are just demoralized.

Jazz just beat LAC to go up 3-2. Joe Johnson is Mr. Playoffs.

Spurs also went up 3-2 because they are capable of going on runs like the Warriors.

OKC looked horrible. I feel conflicted about Westbrook. Is he a baller god who has to play inefficiently because he has no team around him? Or is he a glory hound who would play hero ball anyway? Either way, he's kind of a dick with the KD thing. Then at the end of the game he walked to the locker room while his teammates congratulated the Houston players on the floor.

Both.

He carries the team but then is gassed and plays hero ball. OKC is competitive because of him, but then they also lose because they rely on him and he's all they've got.

Not to sound like a total homer, but, look at KD going to the Dubs. He was probably playing at an MVP level but he still fit into the team and the system playing with Curry, Klay, and Dray. When he was in OKC it was him and Westbrook both playing hero ball.

I think the Clippers are an easier 2nd round team. Granted Utah won't be that tough, the traveling and playing at elevation is hard.

With Blake Griffin out, I don't see the clippers winning 2 games to advance.

Blake to OKC would be pretty cool.

That would be. Westbrook is amazingly athletic, but I don't think you can win that way, just way too inefficient. Griffin would be great, get high quality shots, space the floor, pick/rolls, etc.

Now now... if you can have a super team in SFO, they can have one in LA, too.

I mean, they've certainly got the money for it...

They never shoulda left Seattle.

They never shoulda let Harden, Ibaka, Reggie Jackson (with the Pistons), and Durant go without getting much in return or because their billionaire owner got cheap. (How did that team not win a championship?)

Also, they let Scott Brooks go, and all he did was turn the Wizards into a serious contender and could be Coach of the Year. (My money's on Stevens in Boston.)

OKC has made some serious personnel missteps, I'm thinking maybe the GM will pay for them. Like Junior Jeddy said, ya can't fire the owner.

thanks for making me feel sorry for those fans!:laughing:laughing

I saw Jeddy tonight in the draft situation room or whatever. The Niners made a stunning gambit to trade away No 2 for 3 and still got who they want. Not gonna sit through the rest of of it but there is reason for hope with the new guys, even if York is still owner.

I can see the Jazz taking a game or two in this series. And of course the Cavs are on their way to sweep the Raptors. Can we just get to the finals already?

Warriors in 4. Gobert doesn't have an offensive game and Haywood point per game is good for 4th best on the Warriors.

Jazz will likely relax on Draymond, let him shoot 3s in hopes he misses. Defense gotta be good because it's going to be a slower, less of amount of possessions per game.

Schedule is easy to remember too.

May 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 (10-14) are if needed.

Cavs should be able to handle the Raptors... Celtics will be tough, though. Home court in Boston isn't anything to scoff at.
