Warriors 16-17 Season

Did it ever occur to you that... maybe he's actually just...

... *gasp* ...

..a good player? A that he played extra careful to avoid not fouling out?

I mean, he's been in the league for a *long* time. He's smart, and rarely lets emotion get the best of him. I know he's not in a GSW uniform, but it doesn't mean the basketball he plays is worth any less.

:nchantr

Nope nope. It's too egregious with Lebron. He's good but he fouls and the refs rarely call it. He went 9-10 games last season with out a foul called I recall. That's nearly impossible. A defender like him, as active as he is. Refs swallow the whistle with him and/or blame the foul on a different player.

Anyway.

The injuries have begun... Griffin out for the playoffs. Rondo likely gone, too.

Who will survive the 2017 playoffs?

Welp. Not like I thought the Clippers had much of a chance after this round, but what terrible, repeated misfortune.

The Warriors 3Q comeback against the Trailblazers was great. It's like the Death Star just blew up the planet of Portlandia.

Memphis tried to give it away with 22? turnovers. Conley is the most underrated PG in the NBA. Kawhi was godlike in the 4Q but human in OT.

You know I love me some Draymond Green. Here are some interviews where he talks about playing defense, including D for specific all-stars.

Well if whatever he did during halftime is any indication of Mike Brown's coaching/leadership/inspirational abilities, things are going to be just fine. They were lost in the first half then came back with a purpose after the break.

Man, this sucks with so many people injured and ill. Not just the Ws, but Griffin, Rondo, Tony Allen, etc. I wish everybody could play at full strength. Best wishes to all.

Ya think he might want a shot at James? Brown caught a lion's share of the blame when Bron-Bron took off for Miami.... :laughing

Eww. Sort of scary news about Kerr. This might not be a temporary thing - he might be out for a long time. :(

http://www.mercurynews.com/2017/04/...in-durant-is-warriors-biggest-health-concern/

His sudden and mysterious absence from the Warriors bench, which came to light at shootaround on Saturday morning, didn’t come with much explanation. Vague descriptions like “illness” and “not feeling well,” are usually a sign something is wrong. In this case, according to sources, it is.

At the worst of this current illness, Kerr was in excruciating pain, according to the sources, and he could barely walk. It was scary because it wasn’t a feeling he’s had before.

The worst part, the Warriors don’t yet know what is going on. They had to say “illness” because there are no answers yet.

Kerr hasn’t felt well all series, according to people around him, and recently it became unbearable. It is unknown if these issues are even related to his past well-known health problems.

he addressed it kinda already and stated he aint coaching tonight yesterday, says he pretty much will decide in the next week or 2 if he can even be around for the rest of post season

seems like he doesnt want to be a 3rd wheel, he wants to hand off all duties to Mike Brown and let Brown take over 100% of the game - if he does depart

fuck man, i hope he be shot up by cortizone and be running up and down the sidelines, he is really regretting his surgery that was done 1.5 years ago, back pains suck and i have chronic lower back pain from a head on collision when iwas 18/19

Family friend of mine had back surgery a few years ago. Got infected post-op, and it nearly killed him... Doctors tried everything to break the infection, and were down to 1-2 more strong antibiotics left to choose from. Luckily one of those was able to do the trick, otherwise he very well may have died at that point.

I kind of wonder if something like that happened to Kerr. Family friend was similarly in terrible pain, could barely walk, and so on. And even after getting rid of the infection, breaking the addiction from the hardcore pain killers they were giving him wasn't easy, either.

That was a few years back, and he's doing great at this point. I hope Kerr can also find his way through this. Sounds like it's a much bigger problem than was previously known; they're right when they say it could end his career.

Previously it was migraines due to spinal fluid leaking, among other stuff.

dustpan is out, common warriors, lets sweep till we meet the king again
