Warriors 16-17 Season

Both teams are good offensively. Cavs don't have the defense that Warriors do.

KD Finals MVP but Steph is giving him a run.

It feels like a a couple god-like players vs. a couple god-like players, the former with a supporting cast of demi-gods, the other with a supporting cast of nobodies. Though K. Love did look good this game. But so did Klay.

Ian Clark looked out-matched trying to defend Uncle Drew.

Saw it live on TV. Stay classy, Oaklamd. Excellent job of going for the throat, security guy. :rolleyes

Meanwhile, Cavs didn't learn from game 1 and again played at Warriors pace. Nobody plays at Warriors pace fools! They are going to have to slow it down, take a page from Memphis. Run some iso plays, play some hero ball. I think they have a couple players who are capable of that.

Eh, if anything had happened to LeFloppe, it would have been that security guy's ass.

I get annoyed with the broadcasters, everything is in terms of what LeBron and the Cavs do. LeBron makes a sick dunk, they did everything right. KD slices a sick pass to Livingston for a slam, here's where Cavs fell apart and let it happen. It's annoying, like the Dubs are just expected to excel so don't really deserve a full share of the narrative. It's not every call, but more than not.

Yesterday sucked. Was riding with my dad earlier in the day, and watched him crash right in front of me. Outrode sight lines, had a corner tighten up, locked the rear, over the double yellow, and went into a dirt runoff which sort of high sided him. Classic mistakes...

... and he was riding one of *my* bikes, too.

And then the Cavs lost! Bummer! Anyway, it's not fun pulling a bike off your old man. Thankfully he's alright (albeit pretty damned sore), and I was able to pick up replacement parts for just a couple hundred bucks last night on eBay while watching the Cavs lose. My fault for having him try out the little Ninja - should have just left him on the motard.

Bleh. What a day. Seriously glad it wasn't worse.

sorry to hear that, dude. glad to hear the old man is alright.

I'm just glad there wasn't a car or cliff there. He's not a bad rider (few years, probably 15-20k miles), but he's not as good as I am.... nor will he ever be. I just need to make sure he learns what he needs to learn to survive out there.

We're slated to do a father son track day later this year on his SV650 down at Road Atlanta.

Just talked to him this morning and let him know the Cavs lost :( But he's alright with no broken bones - just muscle soreness - so that's a win in my book.

The game's not important when real life stuff is going on... glad he's ok.

As the Cavs fan in my office said when I came in this morning, "We got them (the Warriors) right where we want them." :laughing
