weed and work

I smoke on occasion, and I pick those occasions carefully. I don't want to worry about shit, and I don't want to have to talk to people, because if I am stoned I get to talking and there is no telling what I am going to say. That being said, there is no chance in hell I could perform my job stoned, but I can't say that is true for everyone. I know a number of people that function better stoned than not. Just because you (nor I) can really understand that concept, doesn't mean that it's not the case. I like to ski, ride bikes, surf, skateboard, sail, any action sport (not MC or skydiving, far too technical) that involves a little "natural" speed, some gravity acceleration, or fluid motion (swimming can be fun, but not competitive).

BARF is far worse for my work ethic than weed could ever be!

like i stated earlier, my work performance is great. so is my attendance and state of mind. and also like i said i take 3-4 hits 3 times a week TOPS. i would never go t work stoned, or even drive stoned. im not trying to break laws(like stealing etc.) i just like t hang out, work on my car, and smoke once in a while. i dont work unsafe or anything like that. i just feel that what someone does AT HOME is their choice. and as long as your cool at work, you dont hurt anyone/yourself, and do your job well with good attendance then no harm no foul

IMO, and it's just that - an opinion, you have a problem. And de-nial is not just a river in Egypt. :p

I would not come to work stoned unless I was the owner of the company. This is for BS reasons like most handbooks stating that you should not be under the influence. I worked for a software shop where a random drug test would cause a major havoc due to the fact that the best engineers used to hit bongs after work once in a while. They kept it cool and civil and nobody got hurt. The biggest problem that you can have is some deuche that runs a random drug test and then reports to your boss. Then you're fired for a good reason since smoking weed is not what you would call an activity that contributes to production.

With that said, I know many coworkers who get high. On coffee. You drink triple espresso x3 per day and your brain goes "bye-bye."

disobeying marijuana prohibition is not immoral, the law itself is immoral.

Pick and choose which laws you will obey? Bad juju.

Look what happened to the Roman Empire when they started smoking pot....with no Frito-Lay yet invented, the whole empire crumbled. :laughing

are you kidding? the government is not omni-benevolent. some laws are just WRONG and should be broken until the politicians come to their senses and change it.

marijuana prohibition is oppressive, i doubt even 10% of the population still believes in it.

Hahahaha it wasnt laced with anything and :rofl

I was just soo paranoid that my boss would notice that Im just staring at my computer screen, which I do anyways but I was so paranoid that I was just doing a lot of work and I was mighty productive.

You wouldn't haven't gotten paranoid had you been concentrating on working in the first place :|

somewhat on topic, anyone seen this guys videos?... I love how hes freaks out at the end. :rofl

werd. funny how some people think any and all laws should be followed 100%, and think all laws are for the better. I also find it funny all of the misconceptions about smoking pot people maintain. these same people probably bitch about people who have misconceptions, generalizations and stereotypes about moto riders too :rolleyes

and then there's the people who say "if you don't like the law, don't break it- work to change it!". actually my dad said that, and it turned out later on that he was secretly smoking weed the whole time! he's a gay republican pothead.

we're just waiting for the government to give us a chance to change it, the people are ready and willing. it's hard to even find conservatives who think pot should be illegal anymore. it's all just private interest and the government's tradition of persisting in horrible failed policies rather than admitting defeat.

let the people fucking vote on it, and i assure you marijuana would be legal tomorrow.
