What Are You Thinking Of Right Now?

That is entirely possible. My wife only had one kidney. She got the other kidney removed when one night, in her early 20’s, she woke up and pissed a lot of blood.

A number of years later she had her left leg crushed between her boyfriend’s Dodge van, parked in the alley behind his parents home, and another Dodge van driven by a drunk. She escaped having her leg amputated by a world famous orthopedic surgeon being on duty that night.

No one should judge another person. And not all handicaps are visible.
Of course it's possible. That older lady with the big-ass cup and one kidney is me.

And, yeah, you are absolutely right: judging people for any reason is crappy, but dissing them for being heavy and using a big cup is absurd.

I've had multiple reconstructive surgeries on both kidneys. I have 1/2 on the left side and about 2/3 on the right side. The smaller one is a work horse, the larger one is lazy. I absolutely hate drinking water... and if I drink it too fast it causes right flank pressure/ache and nausea. Because the right side drains slowly, kidney stones are a reoccurring issue for me. But eventually they do their job... so I'm still alive! :thumbup

Thinking about a phone call with my Uncle to let me know that his battle with cancer is over and he is going to pass soon. He is the oldest Kobza male from the original fam.

He was accepting and thankful for a good life. :angel Sounded strong. Still hard.

Hope to see him one more time. Doc gave him a month to 3. His heart is weak and that may get him before the cancer. Just hope he has an easy check out and all my cousins are good.

I am next one in line to check out what is on the other side.
I am thinking of what my cousin John said to me about 20 years ago when our Uncle Ed passed. "Bill we are the old ones now, the generation before us is gone." That statement did get to me. John, me and one other cousin who is not doing well is all that is left of my generation 20 years later. Go see your uncle.

EDIT: i was kidding and just trolling. But it seemed like the appropriate response to use. LOL

Everyone gets a turn in the barrel on BARF, if you're gonna put some risk into a post. Makes me think we should have a BARF "Dunk Tank" thread where all these posts we put up that draw the hisses should be memolizlied for us to read through. I'd spend so much time in that thread!

I'm almost 65, weigh 175, don't eat fast food anything, and use a 40oz tankard filled with water every day.
On the other hand, I can be a bit of an asshole.
But you knew that because you too.
(P.S. Don't get TWT, woodschick or thumperX mad at you. You WILL live to regret it.)

We are trying to teach my early teen boy, who has always been a...handful... That having social filters on what you actually say out loud to others matters and to stop for a second before saying what you are thinking and think "is this strange thought I'm having worth putting out to the world?" To help him stop saying things that make him sound like an intolerant small minded judgemental prick from a lilly white world.
It is an ongoing battle but he's showing progress.

One ride met a lady on a horse! At Georgetown/ Mace Mill; near ending second loop. The sun was low less than hands width, been Blitzen for three hours/ come to an intersection of single tracks and a dirt road. Stop to do a map check cause it’s gonna be dark soon probably. 30 minutes and estimate that long from staging area. Lady rides up on horse, ask where she is. Said she’s three days into a ride to Tahoe. I give her the map show where she is and the direction to Tahoe. Keep the map, she thanked us.
We blitzed back and it was dark riding when we got to the truck.

I think it's going to be fun to be back in the BA again...... :teeth:devilish:

My brother got very, very lucky and had a coworker let him tag along on a family visit to India and Nepal. Spending time seeing how others lived including folks that had never had running water or even seen a shower, brought about a positive correction to his attitude.
