Holding your own in the B group...isn't the highest hurdle to jump. And what you think is "Magic" might just not be the same opinion everyone else has.
We are talking street here, not track...I've yet to see a switchback on a track, like we have in the Sierra.
I would give it high marks for commuting in the Bay Area Traffic War Zone though.
Whoa Tiger, I never said anything about "highest hurdle." I've ridden bikes on the track for 15 years... all bikes. Never been the fastest, BTW. I'm just making the point that there are few bikes that can do a lot of stuff well. And in terms of street I have never ridden a bike on twisties that has inspired the level of confidence that the Pikes Peak does. And I live at the base of Mt Tam. We have plenty of switchbacks.
And I know nothing about offroad riding... but then again, I never said I did.




I'm at that uncomfortable stage where, i'm already looking at the next bike, and the parts i've ordered for this bike haven't even arrived yet (DP rear comfort seat to match the front)
