Luckily the boarder crossing was a breeze. Took us probably 10 minutes.

The ride back was pretty uneventful except for this brush fire here

I probably won't start a ride report till I crank out some videos but like last year I did a post trip BARF Baja VLOG report on how me and the bike did and I did one a couple days after I got back. This time I added some clips in with it so its quite a bit longer but it helps illustrate the problems and the damages I had with the bike. The Window Rock trail did a number on the bike but I have to say it was probably the hardest most memorable ride we did. The things I put this poor bike through.... However it still produces the most smiles per twist ever!

Windsor & I had quite the opposite border crossing experience. I accideny got in the sentri line. The border guard had the sense of humor of a rattlesnake. We got sent to secondary inspection for my mistake. I failed to see the little blue sign 10 car lengths back :twofinger
(Can't seem to get the pic right side up.)

Haha yeah it's kind tough once you get in a line your kinda commited. Luckily we didn't go in the sentri line. Eric just told them we brought a buncha dirt back from Baja, haha I don't know if that's a good thing to say or not because of environmental issues and stuff =P Luckily he just let us pass.

After making that after VLOG I wanted to make a Window Rock video. I will say that this ride was the most difficult ride I did the whole trip. Everything after this was not as hard. Dmitry told me after the ride that he knew I would have trouble on this ride but he needed me to come along for photos and videos haha. I have to say it was an epic ride but I wouldn't do this on the DR650 again unless I was like 2x in better physical condition and my bike went on a diet. After dropping the bike so many time it just work me out picking it up and then that made me ride sloppy. If I got a little sloppy the bike was just going to go over because I didn't have the strength to muscle it any longer. Also the bike had so much stuff hanging off it it was very tough to squeeze through certain sections. But I have to say it was worth it! This was an epic singletrack and even though me and the DR650 got beat up I enjoyed it. I'll also say that yes better tires probably would have helped me a bit here also.

So until I get my ride report started I have the shorter video kind of a trailer. I'll make a more indepth section by section videos later.

Where Rt 1 splits off to BOLA there is the place where all crashed vehicles go. These aren't engine failures :wow

We continued North towards Catavina with dog as navigator.

Perched atop a rise we played a game of I spy. Camera missed Kimber, then it missed SFMC John and Kale, but I did catch Eric and Merlin :banana

We shake rattled and rode for about 30 miles and entered a mesquite lined very narrow swampy stretch.

A few more. In no particular order -

Looking towards Bahia De Los Angeles
BOLA 1.jpg

Alternate route to Visciano, from San Francisquito. I thought this was rather scenic, but the camera doesn't capture it. Excuse the finger in the corner.

Church in Santa Rosalia, with connections to Mr Eiffel & a Worlds Fair.

This Bougainvillea was enjoying life at our hotel in Mulege -

Went for a morning walk in Mulege. The mountains in the distance were spectacular .

Mission in Mulege. Worth a vist. Nice overlook in the back -

Another view of the Lighthouse. This place was a challenge to get to. I got chased by a bunch of dogs in my meandering route through the local neighborhoods.
