$50 GoPro knockoff on woot!

Thanks. I took it off to do a track day, relatives showed up and delayed the put-back-together. Gonna do it tomorrow.

they will be coming but it will be some time still before we see 1000

these are just around the corner. I would assume October time frame we will see some manufacturers put these specs out using the A9 SoC

'bout time GoPro didn't have the corner on the market. Gonna take putt tomorrow and test it on the road.
 
I took over 6 hours of 1080p video and more than a 1000 stills with this camera on my 3 day ride. The quality is great and well worth the $50 price tag. I'm pretty happy with it. I can share some video if you all want.

I should have got in on the $50 camera when I had a chance.. Dropped my GoPro last week smack on the lens....

Not sure what Gopro hype is all about.... I got a Sony AS-30 recently, used it on a trip. My friends had Gopro... Looking at the videos, mine was awesome! Not saying theirs was bad, but due to the mounted location, mine had a better sound (the raw engine rumble). Theirs had just wind sound for the most. Sony has great sound recording on the camera, 1080 smooth recording, Wifi, GPS, 170 degree wide angle, or 120 degrees (with stabilized lens setting), 12MP camera shots, and features I can't even explain. I'm happy with it. Oh, and it's sleep body like contour-type, not the square Gopro body-style.

So be open and look at other options as well. 2 cents!

Please do... and share any details about it. I am looking for a 2nd camera that's kinda cheap to install on the bike, recording behind the bike traffic/etc.

Is your camera Red color too, like it shows on the website? And what does SOLD Out mean? They only manufactured a little and out of business... At any rate, I'd be happy with a used one that well established for a decent price.

question... at what rate can it take photos?

for example, gopro can do a burst rate of 30 shots in 3 seconds. what can this do?
