Question for the God-loving bunch. If you have a puncture, do you kneel and pray for God to fix your tyre, or do you call for help?

The Good Christian, thanks The Lord for looking over him (her) and the problem not being worse.

The Average Christian takes The Lord's name in vain and kicks the offending tire.

Both end up calling Gixxergirl, and begging for a tow. :laughing

Just add your name to Connie's list. It does a wonderful job. Candidly speaking.

as soon as the recovery truck is up, this will likely happen. as it sits, we don't have it going (registration).

My only experience with this MC was this one dood on the internet who came across as a little self-centered and humorless.

thank you. I may would have used saltier language, but this is essentially what I was about to post.

Just curious as to who you had to get approval from to wear three patches and how the process goes.

Useta be they had to kick ass on whatever club is dominant in the area.

Thanks... and I believe you're actually a "satisfied customer", right, Marc? :teeth

If you have members that have trucks and ramps and tie downs, that's all you need. A flatbed tow truck is a little much for just a motorcycle... although it would have been nice for the 3 pups that tossed their sprotbiles under guardrails together up on 9 last summer... :facepalm
If you have any members who are interested in being Roadside Angel volunteers, just PM me their names, phone numbers, and location. I'll add them to the list.
Again, they need to have a truck and ramp, or a trailer, to make it work.

Marc got the special jelly service. He's very satisfied. Grandma approves. He can't wait for more. :)

We do not consider ourselves to be 1%'ers. We do follow the guidelines of "outlaw" clubs, as it allows us to minister to them, on their ground, when we are invited
Then you should be asking patched riders what they think, not many 1% here on BARF. IMHO

That really clears up your reason for 3 patching, thanks for that explanation. :thumbup

the 1%'ers might be the initial target, but in my opinion, every rider needs some love.

its not really validation I am seeking, its just more like this:

the organization exists to be a silent witness of Jesus Christ. In order to do that, we need to be out, seen, and willing.

if you haven't heard of us at all, then that is a clear indicator to us that we aren't reaching out far enough.

We're in the process of getting a tow truck (flatbed) up and ready as a free of charge recovery vehicle, and we're also trying to setup some "on the spot" kind of remedies that people might need.

there is no payment for anything we offer. there is no commitment for anything we offer. we do have one requirement: that you accept the gift, as a gift and nothing more.

We are not accepting donations for any of the things we are doing out on the roads. however a wise person once told me never argue with a man that insists. (if it means that much to someone, we will not offend. has happened before)

If anyone wants to support our efforts, i'll be throwing up some fund raising events in the future, again, no requirement or obligation.

I'm as serious as it gets when I say I JUST want to keep people out on the roads as safe as possible, happy as possible, and if I get even one chance to spread the gospel, then my requirement is fulfilled.

Some of you may notice I keep saying "I". Tthis is because I was given charge to break free from the conventional harley MC style we have, and expand to the sportbike realm, where riders are different (for one, they ride). I have only 3 other people dedicated to helping me with this cause, and you'll see us in pairs at the minimum.

I am hoping by next year to have a small shop setup that we can host some events with, do some ride clinics, do some maintenance days etc etc. but that will all take time.

How am I paying for this? simple. out of my own pocket, or donations from others.

no secrets, full disclosure (that I have access too anyway).

If anyone would be interested in joining us, please talk to me.

If that's how you are conducting yourself I have nothing but a healthy dose of respect and props giftwrapped for you.

Thanks for helping those in need.

I'm not a religious person, so it's not that issue.

The issue is, it comes across as a "I know better than you so listen to what I say" arrogant statement when people start talking down to, or flaming, people who are religious.

Frankly, and yes my flame suit is on, it reminds me of how every Liberal on the planet argues any of their political points. :)

I think there are only three ways to discuss religion: 1) not at all. 2) pro-religion. 3) anti-religion. Even though it probably wasn't his intention, the original post kinda comes off as an advertisement for his club. When it starts off looking like pro-religion, it's also fair game for anti-religion. Which is also a nice lead-in for...

Yeah, I knew one of these dudes. He and I used to do ghey things together after smoking legalized marijuana from my statue of mary bong and watching the abortion channel. Good times. :teeth

You at least wore a condom right? oh wait...

Shit now I started doing it. :laughing

nice to know. :thumbup

hey, no problem, buddy! since you're the only individual that I know of in this club, yours is the first impression I've gotten.
gotta tell ya, it's aces so far!

also, I agree with the sentiment that a flatbed is overkill. I have a shortbed small truck, and I haul motos all the time. I wonder if your club would do better to sell it, and purchase a regular ol' long bed pick-up? you could probably get a trailer as well, for the cost of the flatbed.

perhaps flatbed was a poor choice of words, we have a beater pickup we got cheap who's bed is trashed and we're going to make a flat bed out of it.

I have a couple trailers too, but without the truck bed it'll be interesting to tow.

we'll see. lots of options available.

I don't understand why it's okay for anti-religious peoples to bash religious peoples but the instant a person who happens to be religious questions your lack of faith, it's the end of the fucking world.

Double-Standard like whoa.

On topic. No, I've never seen your patch but in my opinion I think that emulating Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs while promoting a good club, is counterproductive.

That's just the non-religious folks playing catch-up for the Inquisition and other religion-funded atrocities.

:laughing
