Anime Thread *was Naruto Shippuden!*

Right now watching Black Lagoon, which i find it OK so far (only 6 episodes), but one series that has left me surprised was Eureka Seven. At first i kept on thinking it was a total knock off of Evangelion, but i kept coming back for more. One of the few animes i think i will actually buy on DVD

Dammit! i knew i shouldnt have confessed i liked that show! But yeah... i havent had much time to watch other shows, and i kept reading on online forums that Eureka Seven was actually a good series... that is my excuse and im sticking with it :x

I lost my 1080p source for Macross mid-season then never found another. I still need to finish it. Same goes for Code Geass.

I enjoyed Gundam, but at the time it aired there weren't many options that I liked. I haven't been able to finish any of the other Gundam series, so I am no Fanboi.

I watched Kurozuka this morning with my breakfast. It could end up being my favorite this season. The first episode already has samurai, friendship betrayal, cannibalism, immortals, zombie samurai, and dismemberment. I just hope it didn't "blow its load" in the first episode. :D

If it makes you feel better, I have yet to watch a single complete episode of Gundam.

Or even Bleach for that matter.
 
I heard what happened to asuma like a year ago with the manga:twofinger

Sad that Code Geass is over, was so awesome...

All I'm keeping up with atm is naruto and bleach. Should look for something else to add...

Word, Code Geass was the shit. I was hooked and finished both seasons in about 3 days

Yeah he was an expendable character in the Anime at least. They did almost no character development until he started getting "hunted." He did he's part to guide Naruto then they cut him :D

I'd like to get into the manga for a lot of series, but I just don't have the time. I heard that in Naruto they just start killing off everyone soon. Brass can you confirm?

TCK: On another note, that whole thing where they hunted his monk friend of his. Was that part of the manga too? I wasn't sure if the anime tried to bridge the filler into the original arc...

I have no idea, I have't read any of it. Only manga I've read was Berserk cause it ended mid-story.

And yes, the manga is about to get even bloodier

The monk part is part of the manga storyline. That was one of reasons Team Asuma or whatever went looking for the bad guys.

And I wouldn't say they start killing off everyone left and right... But a major character may or may not get whacked. It may or may not be sad :(
 
i actually stopped watching naruto...still been d/ling, just disinterested. i'll watch it again when i'm bored.

haven't seen anything this season that caught my eye really.
 
I dont care too much for the anime. Once you've gotten used to the mangas every week without filler, anime only cool for when the big fight scenes happen
