Why is it you insist on spamming black on asian crime articles and also refuse to try to have an actual conversation with one of the few black people participating in this thread? Does this seem productive to you? To make sure everyone knows black man bad against the chinks but not have a dialogue with one that's apart of this online community?

That word is like saying the N word to people of color so do you think it is still okay? Derogatory words are not okay no matter the thematic point you are trying to make.

So explain to me why it is okay to be derogatory to some people but not others?
 
Here's one to defy the stereotypes-

Yesterday I went for a hike with my two awesome Neighbors, who happen to be Lesbian and Asian, and we walked our Pit Bulls together and EVERYONE got along peacefully!!!!!

It’s not an acceptable term. But it is clearly his impression and perspective of what he thinks “they” think of “them”’ It’s not my way of thinking. But he has proven that is very much what he thinks of “us” and how we view “them”. If I’m wrong, then we can have that discussion but he won’t. He’s painting this picture, not me.

When he wants actually talk, we can talk. I’ve tried in this thread before but it continues to be just links to black against Asian crime articles.

So only people of color have the market on slur words? Nothing you say that is derogatory to any other race has the same connotations? Funny I don't use slurs to people of any race. I didn't realize there were levels of slurs and that is okay to use it to some people but not others please enlighten me as to what slur words are okay to be used for each race so that I can modify my language skills accordingly.....

It was taught by two teachers (both white females) but the intent was to show the connection between the historical events at the time and they ways people wrote about it. Oh and the history textbook was Zinn's The People's History of the United States.

I'm certain that using a certain slur to another poster who may be of the "slur" group is not something that's defensible. "Thematically on point" isn't something I'd suggest people say in a post, neither. People make mistakes here in the heat of posting, but it's never to late to correct language that didn't fit well.

As I understand it he also recently had a wretched bout of substance abuse and rehab/recovery. Not terribly surprising to find there's some relationship fallout to go with that.

Not that it's any of my business but his previous partner ain't exactly an eyesore either.

Even in this crowd, you stand out. Imagine using anti asian slurs in a thread about anti asian hate crimes and that is your straight faced answer and nobody bats an eye. You keep mentioning that you are black and somehow that makes you the spokesperson for that group here with sacred knowledge that your melanin content bestows on you! One thing is clear it does prove your black privilege in this crowd of wokistanis.

I wouldn't have used my name if I wanted perfect anonymity. But maybe not so veiled threats about my job justified a bit of concern. I had to make some calls today to make sure I'm a step ahead and safe from the wokistani mob.

What's your beef with Howard Zinn? He was significantly recognized historian and a combat veteran from WWII.
