This particular discussion seems a bit more heated than discussing Asian hate crimes.

That's because it's super easy to troll Raiders fans and by all rights Eldy is a master troll when it comes to talking handegg.

He's a master of something.... but if he can't credit Flores for HIS accomplishments he just may not be football mind you're giving him credit for.... ;)

:laughing

Lemme quOte budman: ARE YOU HIGH?

Tom Flores won 2 Super Bowls, you can't diminish his accomplishments no matter how hard you try. :x

:twofinger

I said living memory! Anything that happened in the 1970's is the realm of Archeologists and I just don't have a degree in the ancient earth sciences to understand anything that happened in that time before light and wind had been created.

:)

It's my fault youre naive? Mister "the giants are the greatest team because they won NFL championships in the Stone Age!"

Al Davis was actually pioneer in fighting racism. I bet you if he was still alive Kolin Kapernick would be playing.

https://www.franchisesportsmedia.com/raiders/raiders-diversity-is-a-legacy/

Davis would not accept segregated hotel accommodations for his players. He once fought to have the AFL All-Star Game moved from segregated New Orleans in 1965. When Davis took over as the AFL’s commissioner in 1966, he fought for racial equality league-wide. He helped the AFL build a brand of football that could compete with the NFL by encouraging scouting and drafting black players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

For instance, in 1963, the Raiders, who were then a member of the AFL, was scheduled to play a preseason game in Mobile, Alabama, where his black players were not allowed to be roomed in the same hotel as the whites. He demanded the game be moved to Oakland.

Davis aimed to run a diverse organization and also strived to add femininity in a male-dominated industry. He shocked many by hiring Amy Trask, the first women CEO in the NFL in 1997. He believed in equal opportunity for all ethnicities and genders. Trask ran everything business-related for the Raiders except the player personnel department, which Davis maintained control of.

What? No, that is Green Bay. They are the all time NFL Championship winners with 13 Championships no one else is even close. They don't call it title town by accident. My guys are number #3 with 8, but after that, the Pack have literally more than twice as many Championships as any other team. Why do you think they call it a Lombardi Trophy? :laughing

I wouldn't be surprised if the guy who drafted JaCarcass Russell tried to resurrect that 2 bit hack's career. Kaep was a RB pretending to play QB and he wasn't worthy of polishing Warren Moon's cleats. :x

You should read Tux's post, really.

I mean, Lombardi only won 5...

*le sigh* It isn't as much fun to trash the Raiders now that Davis is dead and the Raiders have nothing to do with the East Bay.

All the good reasons to hate them are gone. :cry

Yeah, I still don't give 2 squats about the Giants, but seeing them flail recently sure brings a little joy to my barf life. :thumbup

yes but did you sing "he is the one called Warren Moon" to Sailor Moon English theme song?

Well, you can hate everything that Las Vegas represents. There’s that....

No, no, I really like to visit Vegas. Great food, great shows, I don't really participate in gambling, but I love the noise and the action. Nothing in Vegas occurs naturally, it is a towering monument to human ingenuity in a barren wasteland. Everything there is designed by humans and built with a purpose, nothing happens organically, I love that so very much.

Good, I'm glad, sports should be fun!! :thumbup

I'm sorry, I don't know that theme song, so no, but I knew you were doing it, which made me panic just a little bit.

Everything in nature happens with a purpose too, its just an ~infinite number of competing purposes so it looks like chaos. :teeth

We need someone named Shadow Moon to be QB in the league and break all of Brady’s records. Shadow Moon...possibly one of the best names ever.

The early “championships” don’t count. Same reason as Uruguay winning the first ever World Cup does not count. Or the US women’s national team winning the first number of Women’s World Cups. You can’t just start a sport and win a few games and say, we are the champions of the world!! Sorry bro :twofinger

Btw I knew Tom’s daughter Kim. She was a lovely person :love

Ahh, but it is not a HUMAN design.

I envision a world where not one bit of air has not been scrubbed by genetically designed plants to make the atmosphere what we want, not a drop of water in the ocean is allowed to exist without the same, not one grain of sand on the beaches not scrubbed by a sea of nanites or designed micro-organism to be the appropriate size and shape of sand grains to fabricate the perfect beach we have engineered.

Not one single aspect of existence left to occur, "naturally," including each other.

You simply are not correct. The NFL, the organization that owns and orchestrates these championships recognizes my position as the correct one. If you aren't sure, you can go check the Hall of Fame in Canton and see if anyone in there is from before 1960. There is good reason the Browns get to keep those 4 weird AAFC CHampionships.

It doesn't even make any logical sense to only count Championship after only one particular merger forward, the NFL/AFL wasn't even the only merger the NFL has done. That is just cherry picking.

I guess you could argue that there were less teams in Competition before the 50's, but if you want to use that line of logic, you couldn't reasonably count any Championships before the Texans were added to fill the NFL Team roster to its current 32 teams in 2002. :dunno

I mean, I guess you could use the 32 Team Roster only measure, but I hate the idea of the Patriots being the greatest team of all time, especially since they are such a new franchise in a 100 year old League.
