Because the old, outdated software was old and outdated. The new setup has much better features and functionality! You'll get used to it

Haha. I had same thought - why? But I get it. Caught me by suprise, though. Thought maybe I’d fallen for a spoofed website and was gonna get hit up for money or something… LOL.

Anyway, one thought - would be great if there were a way to make the stickies at the top of the General forum a different color or something. With the pin icon at the end of each thread title it’s not nearly as obvious as to where the new threads start in the list. Just a thought (and a minor nit at that).

Good job getting it ported over - looking forward to seeing what sorts of new magic it will offer us.

any threads you read with the previous software will reset to Zero, so that old bookmark is lost. once you've read through a thread again, or a new thread you're starting, the next time you click on the thread in that forum you'll be taken to where you left off as the old "unread" posts button used to do.

On your mobile browser, there may be a menu option for desktop/mobile version.

My question isn't about the rules, it's about the forum capabilities because, as I mentioned, I see some forums can hide the image and overlay a NSFW or +18 message with a click to reveal.
