Breaking Bad, Cont'd. (SPOILERS!!!)

I'm pretty sick of the Jesse character as well, and have been been wishing he would be killed off since last season. However, if they continue down the path they're heading with his character...where he has some balls, isnt quite a fuck up and finds some real ability, then I may stop wanting him dead.

Anybody care to take a guess at what Skyler was flipping the coin over? Her Marriage? Going to the cops? something else?

I' think' that she was planning to run-away (from Walts new lifestyle) with her Daughter. She knows that her Son will want to stay with his Dad. So, my guess was that she was going to take her Daughter and run away.

I loved the Son saying; "If you are going to buy me off....."

That was pretty epic. Then I'm wondering why the kid gets a brand new Challenger and poor Walt still stuck driving that beat to shit Aztek with the missing hubcap and probably some dead drug dealer bits still on the radiator.

yeah, she was deciding which of the four states to move to. the coin landed in colorado (i think) but then she moved it back to new mexico(where she lives) meaning she couldn't go through with it.

I didnt think about the "leaving town" angle. To me that doesn't seem to fit her character, but you could be right. Maybe we'll find out soon enough.

skyler's not scared, she was just trying to protect her baby after walt told her how big the business was (big enough to be on the nasdaq and that he's the one knocking on doors:laughing).

walt's turned into a legitimate badass. i think, at some point, he'll have a showdown with gus, the only other heavy hitter that's equal to walt on the show.

i was watching with my 14 going on 15 year old son and said, "if that was me, you'd get the aztek, i'd get the challenger"

I didn't think she'd cheat on her husband with cancer...but apparently she's not the purest of characters either. So thinking about running didn't surprise me one bit.

Breaking Bad was AWESOME tonight!!!

Walt is f'n Bad ASS!!!--"I'm the one who KNOCKS on the DOOR!!!"

I feel bad for those 3 Women though.
that was bad ass, he went heisenberg on her.

yeah, it's going to cost those women a lot more than $50 to get back in from honduras :laughing

Gus is conditioning Jesse to Kill Walt.
The plot is obvious.

Hell no Gus is not grooming Jesse to kill Walt. He can have Walt killed at any time. If he wants to kill Walt, he would groom Jesse to be a better cook. He's maintaining Jesse not to be a liability, which in turn maintains Walt. He's keeping the status quo after his boat got rocked.

Notice how Walt's ego is going out of control. Speech to Skyler, implying he's irreplaceable... talk w/ Jesse, saying, "It's all about me." What I really don't like is making him do stupid blunders like buying the new car, I think the writers aren't being honest to the character. Heisenberg ain't that dumb!

Who is Gus' rival that intercepted the two shipments and asked for a meeting?

yeah, these genius characters make completely retarded decisions just for the sake of creating plot points. it's transparent and annoying.

like when hank had assumed the entire time gale was heisenberg.
then walt tells hank while drunk: "gale's not heisenberg. it's me you stupid motherfucker."

Well, alcohol is a helluva drug!

The car was mostly to set up Skyler as the protector, the voice of reason. Wrong, just wrong. Notice that Skyler had the hots for Walt when he was Mr. Family but then ran out on him when he turned all Heisenberg?

The cat was out of the bag about Walt being cancer free before Skyler started riding her boss.

I agree with this assessment of Jessie. Hopefully it makes his character more interesting, because I really just want him killed at this point.

The rival in my opinion is the Mexican Cartel that originally sent the two assassins to kill Walt. Gus had them turn on Hank because he wanted Walt alive.

He's not free. It's just in remission. Big C could come back anytime the writers want.

And a cheater is a cheater. So Skyler is no angel.

Walt's a genius, sure, but he's also NUTS. Can't forget that part. His ego is definitely way gigantic, overconfidence all over the place, getting kinda outta control.

With the Jesse thing... all Gus would have to do, is send somebody to make it look like he OD'd, or let the cartel guys shoot him or something. So I don't quite get what the deal is with that-- he's a liability, period.

Easy to forget that Walt won't work without Jessie...remember the forklift scene? Walt has been incessant from the beginning that they come as a pair. As was said, maintaining Jessie in order to maintain Walt.
