My uncle had one like that, but no continental kit. That's a '56, his was a '55, that he owned since '57. I remember getting a ride in that when I was 3 years old. My first time in a convertible. My cousin inherited it after uncle Chuck passed. It has under 3,000 miles.

LS with a 6speed is about 100 lbs more than the stock M20 with 5speed. The V8 does move the weight slightly rearward, but not a whole lot.
