Cars that make your jaw drop.

Excellent choice Bud. One of the, if not the best SUV I've driven.

How do we feel about race cars in this thread? I've always loved Chevron 2 Liter cars, like the B16 Spyder below. 1200 pounds, 320hp, 9000rpm, five-speed Hewland, and 13"x13" rear tires, lol. Everything you need, nothing you don't.

Love auto racing.

One of my favorite cars from back in the day when we used to go to Sebring.

6.5 liter V-12.

Beautiful cars! If that's chassis #001, then it's the same car that was stored at our shop a few years back. There's a LOT of car behind you in the XJR-5 from the driver's seat!

Race cars are awesome!
I have an old VW Karmann Ghia that I used to autocross. I don't do that anymore, so I've been trying to decide what it's going to be become. About 5-6 years ago I discovered a Karmann Ghia looking car that was raced back in the '90's. I was very close to making a pseudo-replica to be a road track car! This is the original one that's still owned by its builder, Dr. Enderby.

The Sports 2000 Class cars were the cool mini "Cam-Am" cars. The late '70's Lola T490 and T492 cars and the mid '80's T-86/90 cars were my favorite.
T-86 type car below.

Crewed for a friend at the local SCCA races for a couple of seasons. He had a Tiga SC77, previously owned and raced two seasons before he got it.
Unfortunately, he didn't have the $$$'s to keep the car competitive, probably should have stayed with the Formula V car. As a driver he was "mid-pack".
The SC77 looked similar to this SC79.

And new in '26 is the new Michelin Pilot Sport tire the Hypercar WEC and IMSA GTP cars will be running.
Technology moves forward. Will be interesting to see how they perform at the Daytona 24 coming up
later this month.
