Ok. Then Putting all the storages in? Elixir Collector? Mines?
Thanks Man!
The main point of defense is to let your defesnes do as much damage as they can to try to protect your resources. You want to put as many barriers between enemy troops and your stuff as possible.
There's not a lot you can do at first. Right now, though, if someone breaks through one wall, they have everything. You want to try to compartmentaize to slow down their advance, so they will spend more time getting hit by your defenses. At your level, put the mines outside your walls.
Start with yor best defense, which is the mortar at your level, and close it in with walls. Now build out from there. Try to make it so that one wall breach doesn't give up everything, which is really tough when you only have 50 walls. You'll have between 2-3 things in each compartment. You'll get pissed off and frustrated a bunch of times because it just doesn't work out...You'll think "If I just had some more walls." At TH10, I think the exact same thing.
FYI, I started the game in Nov. 2013. I made it to TH9 by Sept 2014, which isn't fast or slow. To make it to TH10 then took me another seven months...The game still keeps me interested, though. Tactics keep changing, new things are introduced and you have to keep adapting.
Oh, and don't worry about being a noob. There is always someone bigger and badder. Whenever you start feeling you are doing well, someone will come in and wipe out your entire base, buy a time machine and wipe out your base again.
