sooooooo does anyone want a sport AM spot, i seem to have a partially torn ligament in my right knee...

Yes and no, try to hold on to it for a bit and see how bad you really are.

Greg call Ryan!! he just did the tubeless too. Gave it a :thumbup for holding air

id ride if i had a bike, the enduro sell's friday, and im parting out the DH bike.

What day? Was thinking about riding Saturday. I'll be at the Cupertino swap on Sunday. LMK. L8r. :cool
Doug and I are going to ride Tamarancho on Saturday morning. (time TBD but somewhere between 10 and 11 am) I'm probably good for 2 loops and possibly a little bit of extra climbing depending on how I'ze a feelin'. Anyone want to join? Roxy? Sonny? Mikey? G-Spot? anyone., ? ? ?

.

Anyone know of any small/medium Mtn Bikes for sale? I have a friend looking to buy one. He's I think 5"6"/5'7"?

Bap, you still have that specialized for sale?

I don't think he's trying to spend over $1000 though

We're in!:teeth

10am at the Java Hut?:confused

so the nomad has a 23.3 TT for a large, and a 23.8 tt for the xl. now, the enduro had an ENORMOUS tt at over 25inches, one of the things i hated most about it, as i like small bikes. im stuck, do i get the large or xl nomad.

having ridden both, the xl feels like it would be better on longer rides, but the large, with a 410mm post could get the seat to perfect height for climbing, and still be able to get RAD on the dh with a smaller cockpit bike, the way i like. what do yall think?

Don't know if this helps or not but when I ride Specialized bikes I have to ride a medium or the bike feels way too small. Always feel like I'm going over the bars on the small. However, when I ride a Santacruz I am more comfortable on the small.

The less confusing translation is that I think the Santa Cruz bikes (especially the Nomad) run bigger than the same size (s, m, l, xl blah blah blah) specialized. So if your Enduro SL was a large, you probably do not want an xl Nomad. Just my 2 cents dude.

hm, ok. my enduro was an XL, so theres one vote for the Large nomad, if i got that right.

Large That's what I'm sayin' :thumbup

I think an xl Nomad will definitely be larger than an xl Enduro SL, ... I think :wtf

Best way to to tell is get a hold of a large Nomad and go rock out on some home turf you are familiar and comfortable with. :teeth

And BTW, WTF are you signing up for sport class for anyway? sandbagger.

Are you gonna do the XC race? Looks like we have a pretty good contingent right now - it would be cool to have ya out there.

With the AFM races at Infineon and a family gathering in Sacramento, it's a crazy weekend for me. I'll be lucky to squeeze out 30 miles on the roadbike.

Are you doing any trails in addition to the normal loop? I really want to put together a route that involves the other trails around there - I still need to hook up with some guys who know them first.

Make that two votes. I was totally comfortable on Joe's small Nomad, but my small FSR-XC was cramped, as was a small Enduro SL I tried out. While I'm pretty comfy on my medium Stumpjumper FSR, my medium Enduro SL felt a little too stretched out for me - even with the short stem.
