Those who don't vote don't have a right to bitch about their elected representatives. I'd say the same to anyone who didn't vote no on prop 47. Don't be complaining about how bad things are going to get unless you actually voted no.

Exactly. Cultural behavior is a factor of choice, not genetics and people should ALWAYS be prejudiced against freely for their choices.

We're saying the same thing.

My understanding, and I'm too lazy to really dig out the stats, but my understanding is that the demographics of that county show that the majority of voters are white.

The majority of people in this country are white.
 
True, but if a city is majority black, then they have majority vote, and get the greatest say in who their local elected officials are... If they vote.
