Flat Track Racing Mega Thread - INCLUDES SPOILERS!

Janisch and Gilliam will be a good race in the Singles Main.

Coolbeth just put an XG on the front row for the Twins Main!

The 2nd Twins Semi was great.

So great to see Yamaha, Kawasakis, HDs and Indians all up front in Twins. Suzukis, Hondas and a Yamaha up front in Singles. Good for the series.

Halbert has to be tired, pushing his bike into the main.

Now that is sad, Wiles brakes his oil filter landing on the jump. Night is over for Henry.

That was a hard landing. If Wiles is out, Bauman is up front and looking strong for the restart.

I am bummed for Wiles but also super pumped to see Bauman and Zanotti pick up another win against the Indian crew. Glad to see Jake Johnson put the XG on the box. Those guys have had a brutal season and I'm glad to see them finally have smiles instead of disgust on the faces of the V&H team; especially in front of the HD brass.

Mees showed why he's going to earn another championship. Dude is relentless.

Now we have to wait until Tuesday for another race.

the awards ceremony was super -
folksy, genuine, & with revving motors on demand as The Buffalo Chip's version of Mugello was inaugurated

I liked the length of the race, no problem -
more can happen

po Michelle, winner's GF beat her out of a legit mechanic's victory [er, Kawi] lap....

Black Hills Half Mile tonight!

Practice starts at 1:00pm, heats at 5:30pm and Mains 7:30pm Pacific time. Live streaming on FansChoice.TV and on the American Flat Track Facebook page. Last year Mees and Smith had an epic battle here. Hoping Baker, Halbert and Briar Bauman can add to the mix up front.

Tom White is a former dirt-track and MX racer who went on to found White Brothers, an aftermarket performance parts supplier. In his retirement, he’s created the Early Years Of Motocross museum adjacent to his California home. Earlier this year White was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Before cancer overtakes him, White decided to add one more bike to his collection. An FTR750, a race-only project from Indian limited to just 50 bikes, has a new home and a proud owner.

The singles race was great. Not a follow the leader, hope the twins race is as good.

the 1/2-way red flag may re-shuffle the order -
we'll see soon enuf

at least the #14 Bauman [& tuner Michelle] are getting lotsa air time over The Bullet's left shoulder.....

Yeah the Singles Main really delivered. Back to an Indian sweep for the Twins.

On to Peoria for some excitement.

The revised-for-Twins Peoria TT runs this Sunday. Hopefully Wiles has added a skid plate to his Kawi. There was a non-AMA race here a few months ago and most of the heavy hitters showed up to see the track changes and do some testing.

Live Streaming on FansChoice.TV.

Looks like they are giving the Twins an extra practice session on Sunday morning.

Practice starts at 8:30am Pacific

Heats at noon

Mains at 2:10pm.

Its Henry Wiles' dirty world. We just live in it.

Is AFT the next NASCRAP?

".....We want to create a whole new generation of AFT fans. New venues close to large cities, bigger and better participation by manufacturers and the growth of the TV show will all help. If we can drive better revenue into the sport, we can also help to get our riders and teams better compensated, too. That’s long overdue!....."

Its Labor Day weekend and that means racing in Springfield, IL.

Springfield short track for the singles class on Saturday and the Springfield Mile for the Twins on Sunday. Last chance for anyone besides an Indian racer to win a Mile this year.

I'm hoping that Hayden Gillim's OK after his MA crash & is now fit to win again @ AFT

also cheering 99 Kevin Stollings & wondering about Gauthier's delayed return

in Twins, GO Zanotti !! -
also, GO Sammy !!
