Flat Track Racing Mega Thread - INCLUDES SPOILERS!

You can probably still catch it rolling back through the Facebook live stream, you have an FB account.

Thanks for the tip. :thumbup Just watched her heat race. How did she stay on when she hit the wall :wow

JD and PJ both made the main, we are finally about to see a proper head to head showdown for the Throwbacks thread.

Wow, how many riders did Shayna have to pass???? Great ride to the front. J Ott 3rd place in his first main event. :thumbup :thumbup

yeah, that was d-e-t-e-r-m-i-n-a-t-i-o-n

from both Shayna & Ott

is Chad Cose on a Honda [as announced]?

should The Rocket's AFT Singles throwback season also be followed here?

She continues to be one of the fiercest racers I've ever seen. :wow

Worm gets 5th!

wherez he in the season standings now?

=======================

po Stallings,
with his broken moto

Pegram is 7th in points. Hope he finds a way to keep going all season.

Shayna Texter was not going to be denied tonight. Won her heat, semi and main, and that heat was spectacular. Hell of a night.

Some good racing through the pack in all three classes. PJ Jacobsen's recovery from that wild wheelie in his semi had me pulling for a good result in the main. JD Beach finally got a good result and with a TT next week, he'll be feeling good. Wiles is quietly putting another consistent season together. Mees winless streak was going to end sometime but Briar Bauman is still the man to beat, IMO, and Robinson is going to be there all season.

AFT Arizona SuperTT this weekend. This track is absolutely wild with big rolling jumps and wide, fast sweeping banked turns. The facility was built for Trophy Truck racing and has been modified for use as a TT layout. Temps near 100 degrees are predicted which will make conditions extra tough on this physical track. Just like the Daytona TT, some specialists are joining the AFT Singles class including Buffalo Chip TT winner and all arounder Ryan Sipes, Jeff Ward and Supermoto Champ Gage McAllister.

Free live streaming on FansChoice.TV and the AFT Facebook page. Tape delayed television on NBC SN though I'm not sure of the broadcast date. Be patient, lots of time for track prep/maintenance built into the schedule

EDIT: AFT moved the schedule later to have more racing under the lights and in the (relatively) cooler evening temps.

All Times Pacific

3:00pm - Practice
4:35pm - Qualifying

6:55pm - Singles Heats (4 Heats)
7:00pm - Singles Semis

8:05pm - Twins Semis

8:45pm - Singles Main

9:15pm - Twins Main

This SuperTT track is fucking awesome.

The first heat was good, that is a fast TT. Groove does look like Lodi. Hope it gets harder, wider and does not chunk out.

If you did not watch you missed one hell of a finish. JD Beach wins!! on a Yamaha!! What a finish.

Worth waiting for. Good event.

Just some Flat Track news:

Fear not, if you missed some racing this season. The magic of the internet allows you to catch up later. Quite a bit later but better than nothing and its FREE.

- FansChoice.TV is archiving the entire program for some events - practice through mains. They have the Texas race posted.

- The AFT YouTube channel has posted the NBC SN broadcast of the 2019 Daytona TT so I'm guessing they will eventually post the main events for each race as the season goes on.

Dalton Gauthier's team acquired a second Husky 450 earlier this week so the championship leader will finally have a back up bike for the Singles races.

The Eddie Mulder Digger Helm Memorial Half Mile is this weekend at Willow Springs on the cushion half-mile. Purse is rumored to be $50,000 so expect plenty of AFT regulars to show up as many are out west anyway. Not expecting any video from Willow but someone may post clips on social media.
