Topping out a Busa isn't very hard. Topping one out and holding it for an hour (well, 30 minutes before you are out of gas) is plain stupid.

I'm going to assume that somewhere in this mess of a post you are asking for a radar detector.

The bit that I can understand is that you want to cut a 3 hour trip down to a 1 hour trip. Have you done the math on that?

65 x 3 = 195

Yeah, I think not. Your goal is, for all practical purposes, impossible. It would be nearly impossible even with no traffic an no cops.

Let me be frank, if you go that fast other drivers will call 911. If you do it more than once you will become a priority for the CHP, and, given this is your regular commute they will probably just put a helicopter over the area once they learn your schedule.

riding that fast at 3am? doesn't sound to smart, dude get a salvaged civic you can drive if your going to do it. My uncle bought a salvage 4door civic for honestly $500 and fixed it up a bit and lil sucker has 200k on the odo. drives like a champ, a car would be the way to go in this case. otherwise good luck and youcanhas5redbulls before your ride
 
I do that coomute at least three times a month, and there are cops all over 152 coming into Los Banos, 152 to 99 is crawling with them, 99 isnt as bad but there is always traffic, basically, you could shave about 10-15 minutes off you ride with some smart speed, if you dont hit a deer, cow, or drunk.
 
one of my buddies was doing 205 mph on his RC51... So fast the police helo couldn't keep up with him! It made the paper and everything... :rofl

Don't worry, Gixxerboy... If you fall asleep in the back of mommy's station wagon, it'll only seem like an hour...

We should have a "Gumball" rally from LA-SF. See who can make it in the least time. Busa's, ZX14's, Blackbirds, etc. Winner gets a prize. Course we would have to get chp's blessing (NOT!) I-5 would be my guess as the fastest route..?
