HEEEELP I NEED A RADAR!

I don't know if he is coming back but here goes....

I commute from Modesto to Fresno daily. A few things about your trip from there to here. 1. I have never seen more cops in that drive than any where else. And, I commuted to Roseville, and Oakland.
2. You have the CHP weigh station ,and CHP office in this area. I see cops on over passes, and hideouts every single day. There and back.
3. The wind from Merced south to Fresno is thicker. It is a lot heavier. The side gusts can be very rough riding in. Doing 80 with a big side gust, going by a semi is a butt pucker moment. LOL I can't imagine doing 100+.

Good luck! Sounds like you are going to need it. I have a RD in my car. Got a ticket a couple of weeks ago. Didn't have the RD going.
 
I personally had a Passport 8500 in my car and I was pulled over for a seatbelt violation. The cop was a cool guy and says "want to test your rardar detector?" Of course I say yes! Well, it took about 7 seconds for the passport to start reporting the Ka band. Maybe mine was defective? Out in the sun too long? I don't know. No more radar detectors for me anymore, I'm tired of the noise.

At my last track day some friendly officers I was parked next to had brought a Lidar and a radar gun. We tried it out on my Costco issue Whistler detector. The radar gun lit up the K band alert immediately. The Lidar had to be pointed directly at the detector to activate the laser alert. The guy assured me that if he were clocking me the Lidar would be pointed at my license plate, not my windshield.

If you're stupid enough to confuse a radar set with a radar detector, then even a military-grade RWR set will not help you.

Also, if you think you can average 250 miles an hour, you're even stupider than I thought.
