Never heard that. Sure you got it right?One challenge is LED's generate significant heat. Shove them in a housing not designed to dump that heat and shake & bake baby, shake & bake.

Less heat has been my experience with the LED replacements I've put in turn signal, running, and brake light housings, but every LED that I've purchased for head, driving, and fog lights has been significantly hotter.
