*Liam's Wild Ride*

Pic from China

Yes that is a bad photochop job by me, I can't figure out how do do the layer thing.

Actually, Barros is the first Ducati rider in their history in MotoGP to push-start a Desmosedici, and he did it all by himself (thanks track workers!!) because he was lucky to have a small hill he could use. He straddled the bike and ran it down the hill, and the bike fired up on the third try. I'm amazed by his efforts, and that he went out and hammered the bike as hard as he did afterwards with those incredible laptimes, well, he really made us all proud in the garage.

Alex is a bad ass that has beaten even Valentino a few times, more that anyone else out there with the exception of maybe Max. He's won Four times that I can think of off the top of my head against Vale. Not too many others can say that. I thought China was his! Oh well. Wait until he kicks everyone's but in Portugual again! And Italy (except maybe Loris there). And Barcelona. He may be champion yet. Wouldn't that be cool?!:cool

when is somebody going to beat stoner. That bike is unstoppable

Yep Stoner is definitely on a fast bike, but of course somebody has to operate it-- I think we are seeing the true Casey here, growing up and having things mentally working and flowing. It's pretty cool I think to see come together. He is humble but has the fighter attitude, and thankfully has kept the Duc upright so far!

Yo Liam, my nephew is moving from Malaga to BCN this week- taking a job at a resort up there. I hope to be visiting later this year and time it with the GP of Portugal and maybe do a combo trip....

pic of liam at dinner in Shanghai...

Liam, I dont have anything funny to say about this photo... but maybe it has something to do with those jeans.

Hey everyone, I'm back in Barcelona. Travelled 20 hours yesterday to get here by midnight, then had a couple beers to calm down and re-orient myself to Spain. Spent the morning doing laundry and sending work emails, desperately trying to stay on top of everything and get us the consumable supplies we'll need for LeMans. I'm here for four days before the next jump, which will be a flight to Paris and then a train ride to LeMans.

I'll probably be working on emails for the next two days, but hopefully Saturday I'll get a chance to go through my incredible Shanghai adventure and post some photos here on Barf and on my site. Just literally haven't had time, and there's a couple personal things I need to take care of on Saturday while the stores are open in the afternoon, not to mention hit the bank and see if anything is in there, hahaha.

I want to send a HUGE shout out and Thank You to Scott Yu, his wife Kay, and Eden for the magnificent and unforgettable time in China together. Eden flew up for one night to have dinner and catch up, and that's true Barferage sticking together! Full write up coming as soon as I can. Everyone - Keep Rocking! We only have one chance to live a life less ordinary, so make it happen!

Scott and Kay - Fantastic and inspirational couple who have been together 11 years and connect on a level that makes me jealous. Not to mention she is hot as hell (just kidding, Scott - or am I?)! Scott, thanks for everything, and I'll look into the small thing we talked about. Haven't had a chance to even crack open the dvd yet, no time until after some more emails, but in the meantime, I'm sending you guys full hugs!

Kay, we'll soup up Scott yet! There IS hope for him.

What kind of time does MotoLiam have?

The Best! Everywhere, everytime. Eden jumped up on stage with this banging Filipino band, belting out some righteous Guns-n-Roses. I still think they're trannies, but I was too busy dancing with Scott to find out.

I AM souped up MUTHAF!@#AAAAH!!! Just kidding. Kay does want to treat you to a dinner though, ha ha...

as for that THING: I got the thing that plugs into the thing, so as long as you go out and get the thing I'll send you this thing and then all you need to do is plug this thing into your computer thing and then into that thing you need to get. So go get that thing!

Incedently, I am looking for a FORD connection, because there are a couple MotoGP riders who are trying to get something very cool later this year. If anyone can hook me up with a solid with a Ford Dealer, I'm sure the pilots would be able to do something cool for you, also . . . . .

Keep the cool stories and pics coming. :thumbup

Man, it really DOES just keep getting better and better. Life is incredible. Barf has allowed me to meet and befriend so many amazing people, it's a resource unlike any other I've ever seen.

I don't know if I'll be working in MotoGP next season, because there are more politics and drama than I ever suspected with my current position, but I'll always know and remember the people I've met along the way, and I'll continue to rock hard as long as I can. I never stop fighting and pushing, and when I get some more time, I'll write all about Shanghai and my impressions of the people and culture. I've fine-tuned and clarified some of my initial ideas from 2005, and I'm blessed to have been able to watch this country undergoing it's transition into the modern age.

Hmph, This is what I was taking a picture of. Sens and Bund, a famous french restaurant by the Pourcel Brothers. This was Sunday night after the race, and we were just getting started with the post race adventures.
