Is it an intricate design or a simple one? I can do embroidered patches, but they have to be less than 7" X 11" in size and have a "regular" shape as opposed to intricate edges because my machine doesn't do the edge stitching very well. Also I can't work with designs that have a lot of detail. Give me a copy of the image you're interested in and I'll let you know if I can convert it to an embroidery image and how much it would cost.

Please do not merge this thread as it is a most excellent example of folks' different interpretation of what is offensive. Really, so much to learn about one another here. I say we save this thread and use it as a reference in the future cultural evolution of BARF.

Calling someone a nazi=funny but very wrong
Calling someone a pussy=funny and not degrading towards women or cats :dunno
Calling a thread gay=funny not insulting to to the LGBT community :dunno

I for one am really enjoying it-so many varied opinions....that's a lot of assholes if my accounting is correct.

Today's n00b will be tomorrow's OG in no time, I've seen it already, and I'll see it again, I am sure. That argument is pointless and ciruitous. Bottom line is, people find like minded people to ride with, whether the criteria be speed, ability or mindset, it doesn't really matter, people just find common ground. The beauty of BARF is that you are pretty much guaranteed to find someone you actually will enjoy riding with or hanging out with. If one specific group doesn't suit your needs, who gives a shit, find another. There's no reason to talk down to any other group just because it is not your own. Those of you continuing to have this argument, drop it, it's not worth it. (Just my personal suggestion, not a mod thing)

Oh, and if you are going to be an active poster, be aware that your asshole is not the only stinky one. I meant opinion. Grow a thicker skin and you'll be happier for it.

As far as the patch thing goes, I don't like the use of the official barf logo for such a thing.

My question for Koi is, if Budman retracts his consent, will you still use BARF on your patch?
 
If you really want support against this patch then petition Budman with your concerns. If enough ask him to reconsider his position he might just understand your reasons and agree.

Then it will be up to the misfits to go along with Budman or face #%*#.

Count me in as not a fan of any mc/group/etc using the BARF name as part of their logo. Separate would be fine.

Setting aside the antics and anger why would you deny a group of enthusiasts association by name? If from the get go we have a group or an individual claiming the title of misfit, well then we have a new member much like the old.

I see it at base as a case of admiration run awry.
 
Dunno why Koi was suspended, but if it was something he posted in this thread I have to say there's a lot worse. IMO the OG'ers should be setting a better example.

But, mods have the final say and I respect that. It's a tough job.
