Complaints do not come from us. A Barf member reports a post, the Mod core then votes on whether or not it's a TOS violation. :|
 
I think we need to let this thread finally die! The patch has been designed..final design is done..it does include BARF on it but smaller on bottom..it will NOT be put up to vote..only person who can change the patch right now is Dennis if he decides to not let us use it..but we will reveal it when we have it done.

Reality is folks...we are ordering 100 patches..some of us will buy multiple patches so only a small handful of folks will be sporting these anywhere..mostly north bay area where we tend to ride..so unless you folks all come ride with us..you will never see the patch. This is an insignificant drop in the ocean of BARF..so everyone who has their panties in a wad about us deciding to honor our BARF connection by including BARF on our patch..well..REALLY? C'mon? I don't want to sew 2 patches on various places..and either way it is advertising for BARF...

Since 100% of the proceeds of the sale of these patches will go to BARF and my local animal rescue group I foster for (50/50 split)...why not just let this rest..donate to the cause or causes..get a patch or not get a patch or go to the top of BARF and click on the Donate button if you have not yet done so (or do it again!) and don't fret over our little patch!

We do hope that this thread at minimum perhaps will bring tout some folks who would like to actually come over to the North Bay and ride with us! No....we won't require you to sport a patch, no hazing rituals, no worshipping of fish or people..no money exchanges hands (unless you want to donate to the cause and buy a patch!). JUST a group of riders who like riding and hanging out together and an "inside" joke or two among us about us being a bunch of "misfits" when we ride together combined with our default group leader's screen name...turned into a patch idea among us...

That's it folks! Really!

Nothing more to debate folks..move on to the next epic thread i am sure soon to come..or go and reread the Dackie thread..always good for a few laughs!

I was wrong. Koi is a boy. He is not a female. I assume this to mean koi sports the ol' twig and berries.

Just to clarify:

He was not "banned" he received a 14 day suspension because it was his second violation.


The Mod core did not pick anything, the post was reported by a barf member. Reported posts are reviewed and voted on accordingly.

mehhh...I can say the same thing about you..but that is okay..whatever..you never rode with us..don't know us..don't get the patch..don;t get why we want to honor our BARF connection with it on OUR patch..not a separate patch..

Can we just agree to disagree now and move on..I doubt you will ever even ride with us..so why are you so worked up over a patch that you will probably never see on the road?? Really? All your lives will go on even if you know there is a patch out there in teh world that says "Koi's Misfits" with BARF underneath..right? Can you find reason to live, laugh, love, ride and pray with that knowledge?? :laughing

Good luck in any choice you all make. Again IMHO 2 patches then it becomes fair and not a precedence for the next idea someone has.

The fact is that barf brought these folks together and they want to acknowledge that on their patch. I really don't see anything wrong with that. It's not like they're trying to take over the site or anything.

Dan, who said I was one of them. Sorry, but I was never admitted in. I was almost booted out of their rides because I was so dangerous. I just ride with them because they are here and so am I and even though we have had our disagreements, they are good people and do help noobs learn and enjoy their seat time.

I agree with both sides. I understand both sides, but I am not a misfit. I am a rebel. Yes, an OG Rebel. And even though this is a small issue, it affects the entire community and this community has said no. So the misfits can stand on their grounds, they are right in their thinking, they will lose the respect of a lot of members here at BARF.
