The Misfits Motorcycle Club is still active in the Bay Area, particularly in the North Bay and Central Valley. Almost 2 years ago some long-time members from Sonoma County shot multiple times, beat and hogtied a man in his Lakeport home and made off with his marijuana. Earlier this year one of the attackers was given a 100-years-to-life prison sentence. At least we know this man won't ever attack Koi and his Misfits.

Apropos to this thread topic -- as a 1% MC, the Misfits did not allow women as members. If women were given patches, the wording on them usually said "Property of."

No Shit? I wonder how all that ever worked out. I haven't been around that scene in about 20 years or so, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious.

Love you Patty. It is ok. I know you dont know what I know. It is ok. It has been said to me by more than one misfit. I just fought them back to ride with others, but I did not what to turn my riding with you all into anger if I was going to continue to be put down for OH NO DRAMA must resist.

I still ride with you all and today I enjoy each of you. Today the misfits have no problems with me, but just on my last ride I had problems with the misfits accepting me again. It was ok, we talked, everything turned out ok, but it is an up and down thing with the misfits. I am a rebel not a misfit. Sometimes we clash. I am learning not to become angry. This is why I stay around you all. I am learning from you.

But then on the other hand I could just say; Ah fuck them. If they dont like me I dont give a FUCK. I am better than that to fight with a bunch of noobs. Who are they anyway and wage my own war on them, but they have shown me how much care they have for each other and how much effort they are putting into all of them being accepted. But I dont really belong. I am to much different, but I ride with you all as a care and concerned rider that watches out for you all.

I will just be a rebel and be on the side. If you need help I am there, but I dont want to be a member of the misfit group.

Oh on point, when a rider, in your misfit ride, is told that if a rider is behind a slower rider then pass them when it is safe. My passing you when you where slow was in a safe manner. Call it blow by if you must, I am good at that. I was safe with my blow bys, but I have had the shit shocked by some of the OGs before blowing by my slow ass.

I wonder if you read what I posted earlier. You may not know me, and I probably will never ride with you, but as a BARFer, my opinion is as valid as yours.

What you speak of is truth in that it probably may not affect my daily life at all, ever, except for the fact that Koi decided to post publicly about it on BARF. It's not the membership's job to accept the opinion's of Koi or of his supporters, nor is it yours to accept those of Koi's detractors. But to discount an opinion because it differs from yours on BARF shows a total lack of understanding of the nature of this community.

Your argument right now is that your asshole is less stinky that that of some here. Maybe it is because all you eat is roses, but in my experience, vegan poop is pretty damn stinky.

That's basically the "misfits should have just called each other on the phone instead of posting", objection #29. However there are lots of posts on BARF that concern only a small portion of the community. It's unfortunate that General is the only approved forum for so many of these... Social Gatherings and Group Rides are restricted to specific events... and in some cases even posts in the KS have been moved to General by the mods because they had something to do with motorcycling.

My impression is that some folks are trying to enforce rules selectively, with some of those rules being made up on-the-fly, just because they don't like certain members. That really sucks and those people should be ashamed of themselves.

I wasn't focusing on the mods with my comment, and have already noted that the mods have a tough job. But for what it's worth I've reported a couple of posts in the past and never received any sort of acknowledgement whatsoever. Did they vote? Who knows.

Also don't know what the reference is to the concerns being addressed. I think it's legitimate and deserves more than "You are going to believe whatever you want anyway." Surely I'm not the only person with this impression.

It's my opinion that people that think the mods play favorites are also the ones that believe the vast majority of close encounters on freeways are intentional actions by cagers.

It's not hard to not violate the TOS. I've managed to be here 5yrs and 7 months without ever being suspended that I remember. Even on the multitudes of occasions when I was so drunk off my ass I couldn't remember a single thing the next morning I managed not to violate the TOS. I am a vocal opinionated stubborn jackass, but I play within the rules most of the time and only stretch them out here and there. It ain't rocket surgery! And before you make a silly claim like I must be one of the mods' bestest buddies...I'm sure more than a few of them would like nothing more in life than to kick me in the jimmy.

Again..I will say..I think we just need to kill this thread, folks...let it all go! Everything has been said to be said..new folks coming in who say "I didn't all 40 pages, but here is my opinion anyway..well..thanks for sharing..but already ALL been said".

I think too much gets lost in translation online..everyone is misreading or reading too much into everything at this point.

Let's focus on the positives here..which this thread is not one of them..

-We all for most part have bikes we enjoy to ride..so let's get back on them and ride and forget this horseshit.

-the patch is already designed and will be produced soon..no more voting, discussing or caring needed. If ya don't want one..no problemo.

-We all LOVE Connie..so everyone telling us we "dissed" her..well..I think she has a bigger sense of humor and better iron underwear than most of you! She is the Queen to us around here..always will be! I think she gets it..if not..sorry Queen! really! The Misfits wuvs you!! Koi will always be on your rescue list for north bay..so take advantage of that! I would be if I had a truck and supplies to help..but could offer support assistance if needed...

-Anyone that does want one and will agree to donate ANY sum..will be helping BARF and helping animals since 100% of the proceeds will be donated to two great causes!

-I have met some great folks IRL to ride with, mentor me, and be my friends. That is ALL that matters. I would love to meet new folks to ride, eat and chat with..if you don't want to meet us..that's fine too!
