Love this stuff.

Because I sometimes open water swim with mine, I have considered replacing the band as preventative maintenance. It’s criminal what Garmin wants for a rubber watch band. :/

Nothing like sitting at a desk cranking out slack updates to keep your steps low. Grateful for the home gym at the end of the day.

I downloaded a few to keep from buying a new watch - it may stave me off until labor day sales

I love my Garmin (Venu 3) but I hate that they don't have the same features across different models.

I'm most likely going to need to upgrade it because they don't have Multi Sport mode on the Venu series. Womp womp.

The Forerunners will probably be on sale and i think they get you the most bang for the buck.

Outstanding, TWT!

Before you know it, you will be over 5 miles.
That is my goal. I've been getting up to about three miles a day fairly consistently. Once this tendinitis buggers off I don't think I will have much pain left. Just the weakness and lack of cardio conditioning. I probably walked the same pace when I first started out in 2023 so I can't complain that my pace after a pretty gnarly injury is what it is.

Works sucks. 14 hour days this week so have only made it one day so far. I had high hopes for today but site decided to F their shit again today so magic eight ball says outlook not so good as gym closes earlier than normal tonight.

So we have been running fine for 6 months but we did a storage array upgrade last night and everything went to shit so it must be your software.

Yesterday thru next Friday will be the hardest block of cycling I've had in a long time.

Yesterday - 4x4min All Out, 5min rest btw
Today - 5x3min All Out
Sat - 4-5hr Endurance
Sun - 3-4hr Endurance
Mon - Off
Tues - 5x4min All Out
Wed - 2hr MTB Endurance
Thur - 4x4min All Out
Fri - Gym Leg & Core Strength

Today will be the first time I've done VO2Max workouts on back to back days. I went really hard last night and made my ears pound and my vision go black around the edges. I am not looking forward to tonight . But it's only 20min of suffering. I can get through it!

Random data point. My 4min all out burns ~85Cal - 80 for the pedaling and 5 for being alive.

4 workouts down, 4 to go… and I’m already cooked 😅

My HRV dropped almost 10% already and my HR is suppressed. Both are good signs of accumulated fatigue. Yesterday my HR was about 5bpm lower for a given power. Today it was 15bpm lower! I was literally going up climbs at endurance wattage at 125bpm. Thankfully, stopping for a light would drop HR to 95bpm. That’s also low AF, but I’m happy it still moved. The next step in that “accumulated fatigue” scale is if my HR stays at 125bpm for the whole ride - then I’m for sure overtrained. I really doubt one day off will allow me to recover enough. So Tues will be fuuunnnnnn 🤪

Hit an old man wall.

Left shoulder which has been bothering me for a couple years is not happy with the weights and push ups.
Have been a right side sleeper for a while because it would always hurt. Now it just hurts period and that goes double for almost any movement that is not fully thought through.

Heading the the DR in a week.

I am sure part of it is arthritis. Severely broke the humorous right below the big knob at the shoulder socket playing football at 15 and did the collarbone a year later. A lot of noise coming with some stunted little clicking ratchetted movements. Sucks :afm199

Hoping it is a scope thing at most. I have fears of a shoulder replacement. :(

Amazingly riding does not bother it much and that is why I have let it go fo so long.
