i'm not glorifying anybody, and whether he was on his way back from glee club or raping the preachers wife is thoroughly beside the point. he fucked up that night and lost his life. we've all fucked up tho.

and along w/ what Mcarb just said: i was once arrested (for riding too fast on a zx10R on the freeway, but thats another story). when i pulled over, the cop pushed me off my bike and started to manhandle me, expecting me to fight back. i was so surprised by the push off my bike that i took a second for me to realize what was going on. during this second he got on top of me and basically just staring to push me around, not really trying to get my hands behind my back.... so in that 1 second or so i realized the situation i was in, and i forced my hands behind my back, and otherwise stopped moving/resisting completely. mr.officer seemed quite surprised by these actions. he cuffed me, told me to go sit my ass down, etc. guess what, i'm still alive today, and not even a gun was pulled out of its holster. act right. dont get shot. its pretty simple IMO.

and while the above is a true story....

Please show me where I said he "DESERVED" to get shot. He did not. I maintained that from day one. He SHOULD NOT have been shot. He was. It was an ACCIDENT by a frightened and not very competent cop. I was glad he (Mesherle) was indicted, and I also contributed to his defense because of the murder charge.

He (Osacar) also fucked up and his behavior put him in the position he was in. If he had NOT resisted arrest he would be alive today. tough tittie.

I didn't say that you said he deserved it, i implied it- just like you implied it in your first post.

I did say that oscar fucked up (above), because it goes without saying, or inferring for tht matter, that mehserle fucked up. I dont think he murdered that kid in cold blood, just like i dont think this flick about this whole shit sandwich should be relegated to the trash because of what anybody thinks about his lifestyle, family, lawyer, friends or whatever else people want to make it about.

Especially considering nobody has seen it.

What I meant was that if he had raped someone, the reaction would have been different and you wouldn't be on here treating him like a hero.

A common myth being put forth in this thread is that Oscar resisted arrest. That's a lie. Oscar was on the ground with his back to the police and a cops knee on his neck. There was no need to even use a taser on the guy.

I notice a lot of negative comments about the movie when no one has seen it yet. It shows the fear and hatred in some of you. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
