A big "thank you" to Gary for helping a friend get a tow. His 636 motor blew white smoke in Morrison Canyon and seized (how does Kawasaki allow coolant to make its way into the combustion chamber ?)

Started this way - new front tire at Advanced Cycle Service, getting ready for tomorrow's group ride.

Short ride around south San Jose in spring showers - my favorite riding weather. Refreshing without getting drenched.

Ended like this. The 4" deck screw gouged the rear rim. Shops were closed by then so won’t be ready to ride this bike tomorrow now.

Looks like that tire is really screwed.

Too bad you don't have a few other bikes to ride while that one is getting fixed. Looks like taking that one on the ride just wasn't meant to be.

Oh nice setup. I should get something like that for my wife's Mazda 3. Already put a hitch on it.

Rode my favorite bicycle road today. Still good fun on the Triple.

The rear tire on the GS was worn to the last 15% so it wasn't a total loss.
