Photos of your bike on location

One of the "T" piers in Morro Bay, "F" quality pix with those stacks pulling your eye to the stack tops, just for the fun of a bad pix.

And, the only thing tied up here, kinda looks like a bigger PT boat.
It is, Vietnam era, never knew about them.
On it's way to Paducah Tenn. from Sacto. I expect a blue monkey to welcome it home, , ,

All kinds of stuff travels the coast, but you have to be there to catch it.
I'm in search of Lattitude 38, used to be stocked @ C. of C. in MB.
Some insight as to what & when for coastal transport.

We used to get visits from your brown water Navy, waterskiing the Suisun sloughs, with huey escorts, early 70's.
One could always find flat water out there, playing the wind. Come around a corner on a string, and dodge two river boats and their wakes @ 32 mph.

From Black Hill, Morro Bay, above the golf course, all state park, water tank level. About 200' from the top.

The rock and a one stack view, parking lot.
and
Los Osos, back bay, , ,

This view, scan for movement for 20 seconds, the hill will come alive.

Something I've never seen, Monarch butterflies, really flying.
Not the flutterby stuff when there is no control of flight surfaces, pitch, yaw, roll, in even a slight wind.
Yes, I know that they are like waterfoul, & fly south for the winter, I could never imagine how they could fly against the wind effectively, having never seen it. The Monarch preserve park in Pismo, gets the tourists, but this open hillside will let you watch their flight.
These guys can soar with the buzzards, dump or catch wind, steer, and work up wind. It would take a camera with a foot long lens to capture this, and then try to catch them in flight with such a small field of vision thru the viewfinder.

I had a really nice afternoon, , ,:cool

This IS page 420, ya, know

Must been a bit brisk overnight out there, at least, it was in SF.

Despite it being a bit chilly Sunday I decided not to let my jetlag make me lazy, threw on a couple layers and went for a quick ride up north. It was worth it.

There are some great pics on this thread. No comparison, but did a bit of drone practice near Knoxville on Sunday:

Did you get your recall notice for an oil cooler hose shim thingy install?
Received mine in the mail today.

Didn’t ride mine in a couple of months, certainly a few more before I’ll get to the recall.

Cool video twinstar.

In the photo are you the second rider and controlling the drone following the red Honda?

How do people when they are out on their own get ride videos out of their drone?

Does it somehow follow you along?

Thanks, Ken

You can buy a drone for about a thousand bucks that will follow you, or film you from wherever you tell it to go. That's about twenty times what I would be willing to pay. :laughing
