Photos of your bike on location

Did you get your recall notice for an oil cooler hose shim thingy install?
Received mine in the mail today.

Didn’t ride mine in a couple of months, certainly a few more before I’ll get to the recall.

I saw folks posting about it, I am probably on the recall but I checked my lines are they are not even close to touching so I'm not worrying about it.

Cool video twinstar.

In the photo are you the second rider and controlling the drone following the red Honda?

How do people when they are out on their own get ride videos out of their drone?

Does it somehow follow you along?

Thanks, Ken

Thanks Ken (kpke)!

Im the one riding the red bike while my buddy Bob filmed it. I filmed him in the first "half" of the video. We split the drone last year for about $250/each. (a DJI Mini2). Its been fun playing with it, in theory can fly a mile!

This one is fully manual, but like ScottRNelson said, and as you suggested, for $1000+ you can get a programmable one that also has "follow me" mode. I think you would need something like that for solo work. Although, in theory, you can add 3rd party software to the mini2 and that allows for some basic pre-programmed routes (e.g. slowly fly from here to there while Im riding below)

Drones sure offer a unique perspective for photos. Pretty cool!

It really does!

Thanks dood. Someday maybe then. It really does make for great videos.

that drone YouTube vid on Knoxville-Berryessa Rd is epic, Mr Twinstar! :thumbup

Must been a bit brisk overnight out there, at least, it was in SF.

Looks like a great place to bring a telescope

yes, not too cold because the wind has been absent. I’ll have to look into getting some sort of small rugged telescope, would be fun. big sky out here, for sure:

At another Eichler Swim club in the hood I grew up in. I went as a guest. A bit above my parents pay grade. My Dads best friend ran it for decades.

Fun day just putting and rolling thru a thousand memories.

It seems most if not all schools are fenced off nowadays for security reasons so it's interesting that you could still get your bike into your old high school's hallway.

Inspired by this, today I decided to ride to my high school for a year, Mt Eden High in Hayward. It's been 40+ years. As expected, the campus is fenced off now.

I see that regularly in the spring on the mountain roads around here. Somebody will cut just enough off of a tree to get their vehicle through and leave the rest until the Forest Service gets around to it. :cool
