Usal Road on the way to the campground. It would appear my packing job ended up blocking my rear signals :wow, so my riding was a mystery to all who beheld me Sunday :laughing

Finished the Donner Hare Scramble on my Sur Ron Light Bee. Fastest and probably the only electric bike out there. While many were stalling and kicking their bikes I was scootin right by them.

Kitschy Route 66 thru Flag.
I was around as this was created a bunch of years ago.
I surprised the Museum Club is still there.

When I first got to Flag after cashing out of Ca. There was a movement in town about progress, selling bumper stickers, "Don't Phx. Flag"
Well it is official, with all the 5 story hotels, apmts, classrooms, that went in, and the traffic, Flag gets slammed with stop & go.
NAU went nuts expanding, and IS the 900# gorilla that the city fathers have to deal with.

WABDR (most of it anyhow)

My first real experience with dirt! Rode Sections 1, 3, 4 and half of 2 (out of 6) with 3 other geologists over Labor Day. Had a blast! A bit more challenging than expected lol.

Me and the KLR on Bethel Ridge (this is what I dreamed it would be like)

My first down:
(lost about a gallon of gas from the leaky gen1 gas cap, but managed to drag the front back into the road and lift her up, felt good about that!)

Our final campsite overlooking Lake Chelan. What a spot! (we camped 5 nights and hoteled one)

Here is a rough edit of the drone footage:

Yep, the Washington BDR. (Trailered to a buddy’s house near Stevenson, WA.

I think I’m ready to attempt the Lost Coast. Looks great.

A new up and coming rider of :ride , here in Flag.

I thought that performance awards, shagged tires, and scar tissue, were all that is needed to impress chicks, , ,

Bear valley weekend camping trials event

Lakeside (Spicer Meadows Res.) w the KLX while on a weekend camping trip to bear Valley to see a friend’s trials competition.

No, I didn’t camp off the KLX but maybe one day!

Event was put on by Sacramento Pacific International trials society (SactoPITS)
https://www.sactopits.org/

Great group, family friendly and was really fun to watch all the different skill levels, climbing boulders in dancing around the course.

Makes me want to get one!
