Rossi: "MotoGP is boring..."

Two strokes should be back in MotoGP. It would be interesting to watch, hear and also for the riders to hang on them.
Honda and EPA had a propaganda against them and phased out those wonderful machines.

I can tell you one of the main problems in MotoGP in one word- electronics.

There's so much in the terms of traction control and anti-wheelie control and everything else that it's gotten to the point that it's all about getting the bike set-up so it can be ridden to its limit... it's programmed limit. These bikes put out a shit ton of power but the set up to get the most power down while keeping it somewhat rideable has come down to electronics and programmers. There are sensors all over the bike so the engineers can get telemetry on what the bike is doing at any given point on the track... and then the programmers get to work on the electronics and mapping.

I say get rid of some of the electronic traction control and unleash that power. Let the rider's right hand be the traction control... and let the engineers and mechanics get the right set up. It's a sure fire way to see who can actually ride and you'll also get some honest to goodness racing.

again, Suzuki and Kawasaki need to get back in the ring...full on commitment. that's at least another 6-8 bikes if they really wanted to. and i agree that these stupid fuel limits are killing the energy that was previously being put into winning a race by the riders...why the fuck should a rider have to worry about where his fuel level is at when he could be concentrating on catching that fuckmunch at the front.

this shit is starting to look like a really poor version of Nascrap! if you dont spend money then neither will your fans:thumbdown

Same guys would be winning races.

Finger's pointed at electronics a lot when it's not the real problem.

Pedro was actually quoted not too long ago saying electronics make the racing closer.... I though yeah if you have them :laughing

Dude that was right after he was asked about Marco. You know his really good friend that he happened to run over and kill. :thumbdown

Make the racing closer by adding weight. Pedobot is a good rider, but he also has an incredible weight advantage. All the bikes should weigh the same, bike + rider = whatever decided upon weight. Lighter guys are going to go faster, simple physics.

:rolleyes :facepalm

I sure miss that era, when USA riders dominated & there was a pile of them going for the win! Roberts, Hennen, Baker, Spencer, Lawson, Mamola, Baldwin, Schwantz! I could go on & on....

Them were the days....what great races there were back when HON/YAM sold race bikes to just about anyone....TZ750's, RG500's, RS500's....(sigh)...:cry

Rossi seemed to handle it just fine lol meanwhile Elias, a midget on his own right, did SO well lol
