Flew into Siem Reap from Hanoi and spent 2-1/2 days in Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. It is a really, really incredible place! Could have spent a full week just exploring the Temples and surrounding area, it's huge.

headed to the Mt Tam watershed area to catch some waterfall pics - cold up there yesterday (mid 40's) - forgot my tripod like an idiot so the waterfall pics weren't great.

Caught a hang glider here though hard to see (need a telephoto lens asap)

thank you for the compliment. no, i did not apply HDR. I just used Lightroom to adjust the colors and sharpen up the picture a bit.

All along the Mekong there are boats/barges hauling rice hulls. The hulls are used for cooking fires, brick kilns, salt water evaporation, stills, etc...
If there's no wind the skies are often a brown haze.
A lot of these boats are also homes for families, this one even has it's own private "outhouse".

While in Angkor Wat I met this Monk. He made this pilgrimage (walked from Myanmar, formerly Burma) to this sacred place as an act of religious devotion.
He was in his mid-seventies and carried all his possessions with him. He had a little digital camera given to him to show pictures of his journey to his friends back in Burma.
