The Electric Motorcycle Thread

I sold the Zero because I'm finding it very difficult to find housing with a garage, much less a way of charging it.
 
That sucks. But if you don't have a good garage charging situation then an emoto definitely doesn't make sense.

Was just about to send the $100 deposit when I read more and it seems a long way down the road until they're even being sent out. Early 2023 it seems now? More e-bike vaporware? I think most all these start ups exist solely in the hopes they'd be bought out by a mainstream brand. Still surprised Alta went belly up. I think it takes more restrictive legislation before they'll flourish like they way every major automotive manufacturer had to produce an E car to continue sales in California.

looking at that link again, that is actually old footage I believe from 2017

yeah, not as exciting without the noise i guess, but for endurocross I am paying attention to what the riders are physically doing, so the noise is somewhat less important to me. And I am actually not a big fan of racing in general, just like to see stuff I haven't seen before.

there was that cake kalk race a while back, there were no footages from that race, maybe they thought the videos looked too boring they didn't want to release it.

Do y'all think we should have our own section for e motos? This thread has gotten quite long and is all over the place.
however it may just turn into one of those dead places on barf like the supermoto forum.

I've been thinking we have needed one for awhile. This thread is so long.
 
It is, but we also get a decent amount of involvment with those that are non e moto riders and some that are bike curious.
 
No, BARF is barely alive and we don't need to further fragment the user base with unnecessary complexity. Ugh, I miss the lack of vibration on the Zero and am terrified at how much the new bikes I want are known to vibrate.
