The NHL Thread, 2012/2013 season

lol...I went to the Cow Palace on Friday for the rodeo, with anticipation of remembering what it was like to see Sharks games there back in '91 and '92...

Holy SHIT that place is small! what is it, 6000 people max? wow. Hard to imagine NHL games were played there.

makes me really want to go see the Bulls play, with that kind of intimate atmosphere. Plus, I heard they upgraded the arena as they bought the PA system from AC/DCs last tour. That's cool, right there.

8300 is a sell out for a Bulls game. :D

They upgraded the amenities, added a beer garden at ice level, upgraded the scoreboard, but didn't repaint. :x :laughing

Seriously dude, sack up or GTFO.

This. Lots of knowledgeable Sharks/hockey fans in this area and on this forum.

Non-traditional market coupled with the fact that soybean is an O-6 Red Wings fan. Aka, completely unfounded bullshit assumption.

I disagree with the bolded part of this statement as being a cause for his behavior. There are usually a couple of douche bags in most large crowds, and I don't think we should uphold them as representative examples of the crowd as a whole.

:thumbup

Multiple sources confirm, NYIslanders making the move from Nassau, Long Island to Brooklyn, New York. Still literally on Long Island, but now a part of NYC. New home to become the Barclay's Center.
