The Official 2012 NFL Thread

So, wait, what you are actually trying to do is avoid the bs. Yet you are bitching about it for damn near two pages.

I think doth protest too much...

A completely meaningless game and a completely meaningless honor.

Nah, all star games are a fun way to fill the gap between playoffs and Superbowl. I used to be irritated by it as a post Superbowl event, but as a gap filler, I like the distraction before the big game.

:laughing Do what I do, DON'T WATCH IT!

It used to be an interesting game, but not now. It's great to select the best of the best at each position, but they really don't need to have a tackling hitting football game afterwards (not that the Pro Bowl has any real hits).

I lit a candle for Eldritch.

*biting nails* Freakin' 49er's! We have our third string out there today with all the injuries and even the Cards are making me nervous.

Another ugly win by the Bengals. Still, finishing the season 7-1 in nothing to feel bad about. Assuming New England beats Miami and Denver beats KC, I believe next weeks games in the AFC will be Houston/Cincinnati and Baltimore/Indianapolis.

Yup and Cincy could easily beat faltering Houston! Wow, they went from 12-1 and in charge with #1 seed, to stumbling into the playoffs with three losses and now they gotta play the wildcard round. What a collapse.

Defensively the Bengals can play with anyone. Offensively I'm a little worried. I do prefer to see them go to Houston again next week instead of New England or Baltimore though.
