The Official 2012 NFL Thread

What actually sucks if the Fins trade diva Brandon Marshall, then their #2 WR has some kind of weird knee injury. Shit! So they will likely start 2012 with two completely different WR's than 2011.

Haven't even got to training camp and bishes are suffering lingering injuries. Crikey this offseason is crazy with Raven's LB Suggs hurting himself playin' hoops and such. It's only June!

yeah...at the same time, if BB can't figure out how to attack NY-a by now, there's no hope for them in the future. this seems more like a 'Fuck you, NY-a" then an actual strategic move to me.

Yeah, I do as well, can't really count on a THIRD meeting with the Giants in the SB.

What a weird move, the guy is useless until 2013 because of his injury. Much ado about nothing!

I'm thinking it's BB's way of saying something like Ahab's quote: "...from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee..."

Did Ahab say "DON'T ASK ME THOSE QUESTIONS" like Coughlin? :teeth

Super Bowl hangover, happens every damn year.

Super Bowl hangover, happens every damn year.

Coughlin said it because he's not responsible for that decision and more than likely doesn't agree with it. The N.Y. Giants back office is getting REALLY notorious for a, "Fuck you players, we'll pay you what we want when we want and you'll fucking like it. No negotiations." attitude and I think it doesn't always sit well with the coaching staff that invests a lot of heart into these guys or more obviously the locker room. The way our staff got fleeced in Free Agency last year was a clear case of NYG contract hardass behavior, as is Osi's constant complaint about his contract.

As long as they keep winning Superbowls despite players fleeing every time a contract comes up, I expect the, "Fuck you, Son, you're lucky to play for this franchise," to continue. I also expect we'll see #4 Draft pick Adrien Robinson suddenly become this crazy talent everyone starts talking about in the NFC.

Brandon Jacobs in a bouncey castle. "Why is the little kid impacting the ceiling?" :laughing

In other news, Ochocinco is changing his name back to Chad Johnson on July 4. :flag

He should change it to Ocho Irrelevant Johnson.

I'm so stoked that the Fins signed Ocho so they could download all he knows about the Pats' playbook, this will help the Fins' D nicely.

AW SHIT forgot he was there a whole year and only learned two plays. :laughing

The word coming out of the Bengals camp nowadays is that Ocho is a bit stupid. He never really learned (or possibly understood) all of the plays they were running in 03-07 when he was leading the AFC in yardage, but that his physical skills were so dominant he was able to be successful. Apparently Houshmandzadeh has claimed he had to tell Ocho where to line up on certain plays while in the game. Who knows if its true. Maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle. What we do know, is that football hasnt been Chad's main focus for 2 to 3 years now and that is evident on the field. I'm not surprised things went down the way they did in NE for him. Hopefully he plays better in Miami, but I'm not counting on it.

Hopefully he plays better in Miami, but I'm not counting on it.

Miami's top WR signing before Ocho was legendary WR Legedu Naanee who had 4 td's in 5 years....probably better than "the Ted Ginn family" but still. :x

The #1 receiver from last year was traded, the #2 receiver has some weird injury and/or personal matter going on and isn't at OTA's. We'll take any WR help! :thumbup

(except Plaxico)

I will miss that dude on our team as will most Giants fans I think. He was a pain in the ass sometimes, but we won 2 Superbowls with the big man and he was an important part of the family. I think the Niners will be pleased with what they get out of him. Gore will blow the fuck up after Big Thunda has spent a couple quarters stomping on Linebackers.

they have 'legitamit contender' written all over them. and they got better in the offseason. of course you never know until the season is done, and how the injuries will effect them. most likely won't be 13-3, but if things go right again for them they'll be a tough out in the playoffs.

I don't see how the Niners can be anything but the hands down, all on, favorite to win the Superbowl this year. The Giants of course would win, but we're going to win it NEXT year, so we're going to rest this year.
