We traded our crappiest DB to the Browns, so we need another crappy DB to fill the spot. This guy Hall seems less crappy than the one we dumped.

Gonna see how ex-Bengal defensive backs coach Vance Joseph works as our new defensive coordinator, nice promotion for him as the Bengals' DB's were pretty good last season. And if anyone knows whether Hall can play or not, it's Coach. :teeth

No, when I say top dollar, I'm talking about TCO, which would include draft picks to compensate the team holding the contract.
 
Buffalo is having a bad day....their #1 draft pick Shaq Lawson requires shoulder surgery, prolly out 6 months. Their #1 WR Sammy Watkins has a broken foot, who knows how much time he'll miss. Crikey.

In other news, Fins signed DE Jason Jones for $1.5 million. He had 4.5 sacks last year for Detroit.

Giants signed DE Olivier Vernon for $85 million awhile back. He had 7.5 sacks last year for Miami.

So those extra 3 sacks are worth $83.5 million? :p

Bro. I'm having a bad day. For the past 33 years I've felt cheated about the Redskins-Dolphins battle in Super Bowl XVII. My memory banks said Skins RB John Riggins fumbled in that game at a crucial moment, and Miami would have won if the refs hadn't blown it. That memory has been with me all this time.

Someone uploaded that Super Bowl to youtube a couple weeks ago, so for the first time since January 1983 I watched the game....shit. Totally wrong memory. Riggins was down by contact, no fumble. It was a very close call, but his butt hit the ground before the ball came loose. We lost fair and square, Skins played a stronger 2nd half and deserved the trophy. :(

After 33 years of butthurt, I finally congratulate the Redskins on their 1983 victory. :laughing
