The Official 2017/2018 NFL Thread

Why is the Baltimore/Jax game not being televised? I would have thought it would be on nfl network at least.
 
i'm a little suspicious about how poorly advertised their official streaming options are. I get the impression the NFL is doing it begrudgingly as if they hope the number of viewers stays artificially depressed (as opposed to MLB which is 10 years ahead in streaming adoption).

of course it comes back down to $, they are able to bilk traditional advertisement buyers for more $ than for web slots.

personally I will stream ever single legit stream. I keep the ones NFL Network and CBS do for Thursday night games. I streamed the few that were on Twitter and I will stream all of the ones on Amazon even if I don't watch the game.

basically I hope my tiny click (hehe) helps add up to metrics that justify a meaningful shift to official streaming options.

it's kinda funny, got my coffee ready and went to Reddit to find an unofficial stream and that official one was at the top of the page with /thread after it :laughing even Redditors want legit streams

Baltimore is not having a good year and I'm okay with this. They are free to continue this trend as long as they want. Still bitter the NFL rigged that SB for the Lewis retirement storyline. :x

I wonder how long until people start to genuinely listen to what they're trying to say, and stop trying to intimidate / insult them in to not protesting?
 
I've always thought that "Taking a Knee" is about as respectful as any form of protest could ever take.
 
I didnt see any of the Eagles win over the giants. Kinds glad after seeing the scores by quarter. Wtf happned in the 4th!

The Giants finally showed up. Too late. It was a flash of the 4th Quarter fire they showed 2 years ago when trying to fire from behind with a terrible defense. Hopefully they can capitalize on that momentum against Tampa next week.

Philly snatch it in the last seconds with a eleventymillion yard field goal.
